  1. so if crowder got a guaranteed contract what's to stop him from being so outrageous that youtube bans his show not just demonitizes it. then he still gets paid but DW loses all that exposure and revenue.

  2. Dave Smith, SC didn't disclose the dollar amount because it wasn't about the money. It was about supporting conservative content providers and not doing left wing big tech's suppression work for them. You can't be that obtuse that you don't understand that, so I can only assume you're disingenuous.

  3. Good job, Megyn.
You understand and explain it isn't the money making Crowder angry, but the genuflecting to big tech and squishy advertisers.
Too many others hear the $50million and get dollar signs in their eyes and miss the bigger message.
    Well done, MK!

  4. Was a big fan or Crowder, but lost all respect in him. If you don't want the contract then walk away. Don't say you walked away and then tape a phone call to get a pity party going. Very childish.

  5. Crowder is like the spoiled little a**hole brat on the playground who intentionally bumps into the nice friendly big kid, falls down, starts crying and tells on the big kid, getting him in trouble. He's a little b*tch. Don't like the terms? Don't sign the contract. End of story.

  6. Who cares? The point is NONE of these people are your friends!
They get paid lots of money to argue points and get you riled up.
Do you really think they’d be on YouTube if they actually told you how to actually beat all of this stuff?

  7. Personal business should not be hashed out on public platforms , it’s says a lot about people when you go that route to get people to sympathize with your dilemma.. sorry but when I’m concerned about filling my gas tank you and your crying that $50 million isn’t enough , well Steven rethink your problem .

  8. IMO I think both are disingenuous in presenting this like they thought they wanted each other. They both know, if they were honest, they aren't good blend for how they each do things. Like the offer was, this is an option if you cant find something.

  9. A few things you all need to realize:
    1. If Crowder gets demonetized or blocked from social media, what does DW do? They make a huge deal out of it and film specials with him about the evil and biases of big tech, promote the heck out of their DW+ subscription, host exclusive videos from Crowder on it, and all sorts of YouTube viewers will buy memberships because they want to support DW/Crowder.

    2. DW acting like 1 or 2 videos that can’t be posted on YouTube is like losing $200k-$400k is ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS. Their money is from ad placements, DW+, and podcasts. Also, they will CONSTANTLY be making money from older videos of Crowder.

    3. That $50 million is over the course of 4 years and is a production budget, not a salary.

Crowder is in the right for pointing out what a bad deal this is, and even Jeremy from DW admits it was a BAD DEAL because he FULLY EXPECTED Crowder and/or his lawyers to want to change things. If you’re making an offer that you already know will be argued and not agreed to, THEN MAKE A BETTER FIRST OFFER (especially when it’s between “friends”). This is basic business.

  10. crowders point is to make upcoming young people aware of the "dangers" of signing a "contract" like that, i mean he said he walked away from 50 million dollars, that is to raise the question of, "are you crazy, why walk away from that?" response and then look deeper into why he did it, BUT he did it himself, he signed with them and after making ALOT more money and his contract ended now, NOW he is like oh oh dont sign with those scumbags, that is wrong from crowder

  11. Daily Wire's starting point was horrible. Daily Wire knew he was demonetized. Crowder received the boiler plate offer. The term sheet was ridiculous and it would be better to have a large part tied to the subscriptions and not ad revenue.
