A global map of Mars composed from images captured by the Tianwen-1 orbiter was released by the China National Space Administration (CNSA) and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) on 24 April 2023. Tianwen-1 (天问一号) is China’s first Mars exploration mission with an orbiter, a lander and a rover named Zhurong (祝融).
