Tom keeping us entertained with these fire videos! Keep the stash, looks awesome 😁
Hell yeah I'm scrolling through your vids and you just release a new one lol
Salam from Malaysia!, automotive student here, enrolled in a college nearby my home about 1 month ago, currently learning after sales service, will touch the engine later on 😊😁
cgi ppl ☠
Shibuya intersection is the World’s busiest pedestrian crossing with as many as 3000 people crossing at a time. It would be almost impossible to drive around the surrounding streets as they show in the movie. But it looks great and is a fun scene.
Cinematography on point tbh
I believe the new movie will have a few more good shots in line with the first 3 movies.
Talked about going back to the roots and all
back when i was a kid it baffles me how they made an evo drifts like that..back then i was an initial d watchers and simply the evos fan in particular, knowing them being awd machine specialized in grip. but as i grew up learning how easily you can make evo into rwd(basically take out the front driveshaft, plug the hole and voila), made me raise another question. why? why do they choose evo as the hero car of a movie about drifting 😂
8th pin me if u like cars 🥹
The Evodrift through the people is also CGI
Maybe im mixing it up with another movie. But didnt they not have permission to film here so they only got a little footage?? Even to the point of having a fake director on site to take the fall when police showed up…
0:18 racing joker thinks all asian people look alike, what a racist lol jk
Low resolution, computer generated Asians all look the same to me.
Hi from singapore
Definitel CGI. I saw a person walk straight through another in that crowd
That's a really good point about the longer shots, nowadays during action scenes it's a constant flurry of hundreds of different snippets of shots, and like you say a "headache", those single shots that flow are awesome, especially of drifting, and to be honest they're done by YouTubers nowadays or pros like Larry Chen, so it's kinda inexcusable for Hollywood not to do the same
The crowd is part CG.
You know what's a headache when you try to drift thinking you can drift but you can't drift that scene with that long drift through the center is best shot
Probably one of the best one take shots in the series. Rivals the first movie for best chase scene for sure.
They CGI'd the gang of people. The whole intersection is a set, if you watched BTS.
Another tv show where the Shibuya intersection is recreated (to much more accuracy) is Alice in Borderland on Netflix, where they needed a scene of a desolated Shibuya Crossing, and that's not possible to achieve on location, so a whole set was built.
The R33 has the 400 number prefix again, but that is not at all possible because of the shape of the car. The R33 scene director dropped the ball there.
Need for Speed (the movie) has great stunts – at least in my opinion.
the Shibuya scene they remade the set because at the time they didnt have filming permits. Even if possible that area is always way to dense to block off traffic an the walkway. The drifting crossing is mostly digital like that pan shot in the background the motion blur hides it but if you look close you can see it, and besides the remade set and the practical stuff. and the scene when shaun is walking on the shibuya walkway they litrally had to follow him in japan, if I recal it was said that since they didnt have the permit they hired a fall guy to take the blame if they got caught filming which I find really funny.
Loving these Tokyo drift videos
Damn you skipped the scene where the RX-7 slowly comes to a stop after doing the donuts. That to me is the best scene when you can see the back wheel just slowly stop and the cars body go back to center after stopping is so bad ass!
Crowd is definitely cg
One of the best drift shot in an movie
Didn't realize there even was yet another r33 other than big bird lmao
I remember remaking the R33 vinyl job in Forza Horizon 2, first one i ever did in a game lmao, I think its an underrated one
That crowd is most likely CGI. I'm not for sure but it seems like they was moving through each other
U have spent most your life watching f and f 🤣there should be a video bout U 🤣
The racing joker doesn't believe in outros xD
The crowd isn't fake cgi, they brought in the old Group B fans.
