I always hated Gravity Bind as a kid because there was next to no counter play (especially if you didn't have MST). Glad to see I'm not alone in this sentiment.
The Bridget and Aalto duel legitimately had me enthralled. Fucking superb. Also really good music choices for background music

Previously on The weekly jam: KZ defeated Bridget in an actual duel, Aalto fell into a hole on their way back from building their deck and Jordan selected his Deck master The Immortal of Thunder a monster who sucks shit but 30 episodes from now will have an otk strategy- A fact that did not help him in the finals, With Magician of Fate and Raigeki banned and Jordans Nemesis White Magical Hat(aka randy pitchford) limited to one will KZ be able to Turn this into a win streak? will the second place player remember to limit pot of greed this week? Is the immortal of thunder going to show up again?

When KZ didn’t get rid of the gravity bind in his opponent’s had I was screaming. He literally said he only had one out, and he already used it.
I had a deck with Gravity Bind and a card that was a Fire monster with an effect that let it attack the opponent directly and every time it was successful; it's attack points would increase.
I'd use Gravity Bind to keep them from summoning strong monsters and use the Fire guy to attack over and over until I won.
Edit: I looked up what the monster was, and it was Raging Flame Sprite.
Next week is gonna be insane when Aalto pulls like three Yata and asks if it's any good after revealing they pulled three.
I'm new to yu-gi-oh so im unfamiliar with certain cards but gravity bind seem so busted. Is there a counterplay to it?

I just want to say, despite what some people are mentioning about their deck being a bit weird, it is genuinely interesting seeing aaltos deck, because watching someone with little experience try to figure out what is actually good in these old sets is really really fun

Duel 2 of Aalto vs Bridget made me crack up laughing me during those last turns, amazing video this time KZ. Can't wait for next week's, watching this alongside a first time view of the original Cimo vs Gage Progression series (on episode 20 of that now, in the first series). Very interesting contrast.

It really shows that KZ has been in the business of making videos for like a decade when this is still really early in the show and everyone is perfectly settled in the format. It just feels obvs professionally edited and hosted it's really pleasant.
And as a bit of an odd request could it be possible to have the songs used throughout the video listed in a pastebin or the video description maybe ? that might be too much of an hassle though I'd get that

A lot of belles of the ball with this set. Lot of broken banned things too. Delinquent Duo might be the scariest back in the days of early GBA Yu-Gi-Oh games.
Are people still updating the HD card images for these full art anime-style cards? I dropped off of it because when i played more regularly I thought people were falling off of keeping them updated but I might have to do it again because god they look so nice
