The $1000 Hypixel Zombies Challenge…

A few days ago, one of my viewers challenged me to try and achieve a WORLD RECORD run on any Hypixel Zombies map/difficulty for $1000… I promised that I would split the money 4-ways across my teammates and I if we completed this challenge…

I’ve been playing Zombies for quite a while, and I’ve never actually
attempted to go for any of the speedrun leaderboards…
I normally spend most of my time random queueing and playing casually on streams, so I didn’t really think much on this until one of my viewers, @Choco Chungus , got in contact with, @Quark , one of the greatest Zombies player…

Apart from Alien Arcadium, this man holds the record for best time on pretty much every other map & mode. Dead End Normal, Hard, RIP & Bad Blood Normal, Hard, RIP difficulties. He’s also beaten Bad Blood RIP solo in under 30 minutes… It’s already incredibly difficult to beat it alone, but in under 30 minutes? This dude is insane.

A few days later, I get a message from Quark on discord talking about
the potential possibility of achieving a world record time for Bad Blood HARD mode. He mentioned how the current WR time for Bad Blood Hard is far from optimized and could easily be improved upon.
He also reached out to _zReaper and Zabolec, two other very well-known players within the Zombies community well known for also having achieved world record several times.

And together, we would be the team of 4 to achieve this World Record run…

Again, shoutout to Quark, Zabolec, and _zReaper for helping make this possible. I never would have imagined ever making it onto a Speedrun leaderboard considering I don’t ever speedrun. Thanks to Choco for getting Quark’s attention (I’m too introverted to make the first move). Most importantly though, shoutout to MasterMidnightBlue (Jedi) for the challenge. Without him, the idea for this video would not have existed… The World Record in it of itself is already absolutely mind-boggling, but with $1000 on the line makes it all the more exciting.

Lastly, I would like to point out that SOOOO much more can be improved upon during our speedrun. R11 was dreadful, and I accidentally messed up one of Quark’s shots with my shotgun during R16… We did however make up for this in the later rounds.
