The equilibrium of the Holy Kingdom of Cadas was broken when the Veil brought forth powerful wild creatures, called ghosts, intent on devouring all the living. Ghosts change their victims and can even possess their bodies, turning unhappy ones into restless monsters that prey on civilians. Only «chimeras» can protect humanity: hybrid warriors born of the union of two souls.
Briar and Lute are Chimera sisters. The transformation gave Briar superhuman strength and stamina, and Lutus sacrificed herself to join her soul with her sister and became a ghost with mystical abilities. The sisters are voiced by Stephanie Justen (Metal Gear Solid 5), and they need to rebuild a haunted city. However, they have yet to learn that the order they belong to has far greater plans.
