I found a cheeky little trick in the game. Go to the military base and bring 1 lock pick. Run straight up the trade guard and click on his trading option and exit the menu without trading anything, then wait for his partner to walk in and they will both leave to discuss business in the back. During that time, I want you to walk up the ladders carefully without a sound, then wait until they resume their post. The trading guard will walk to the front of the ladder while the patrol guard will either walk into the building or linger around. You will need to wait for him to enter the building. During that time, jump down from the ledge near the sandbags and quickly enter the room below you with a locker and pick the lock with your lock pick and you can steal the loot. Now quickly enter the building inside and hide inside the corridor before that patrol guard walks around and finds you. You need to wait until that guard walks past by you and exits the building to talk to the trading guard. There is a pile of boxes under the staircase that will always respawn tons of loot every 7 days you return to the military base. The loot consists of 4-12 canned foods, 20-100 bullets, rifles, assault rifles, pistols, 5-20 weapon parts, 4-12 morsel of meat, 2-6 bandages, 2-6 medicine, 2-6 herbal medicine. Once you decide what loot you want, you can run straight out the exit you came from. Both guards will not shoot you. Instead, they will warn you not to do that again. This is the best method in looting the military without killing anyone and getting injured yourself. “Minor note” There is a single guard on the bigger military base where you try to loot that huge cache of boxes under the stair that I mention early. That guard is purely hostile and will not warn you. So be careful if he shoots, then all the guards will become hostile. You won’t have to leave your house for a while with this amount of loot. You can trade off all the excess weapons and medicine for components and wood.
