  1. When the provocations at Polish-Belarus border started I was afraid that our parlament would divide, fight like children and wouldn't be able to do anything about it.
Instead, in the face of real danger that bunch of fuckin idiots united and agreed to do something productive together.
    Faith in Polandity restored
It's a shame that we need an armed enemy to unlock that feature 🤨

  2. Poland is falling into same trap as Ukraine. Just the US building another proxy army, which Poland can't even afford to build. Why you think they are trying to extort Germany for money?

  3. Superpower? What a load of crap is this? Based on some asumptions only. Poland gave away 2/3 of it's tanks. Most of Krab's and so on. Polish air force is a joke. Around half of F-16's are grounded as spare parts donors. Military also has lots of 80s and 90s trucks. Polsih army is very weak and not capable to defend Poland. I am Polish.

  4. Poland would have no reason to arm itself if not for its neighbor, Russia, an aggressive evil empire. The whole history of Poland is one big fight with Russia. Russia is unpredictable barbarians and you never know what will come to this empty head of the next tsar of Russia. It's time to finally plow this evil empire so that it will never threaten the world again.

  5. As a Polish person living in the country I can say with all certainty: we as a nation are NOT prepared for such a fundamental shift. It's something we should have been doing for the past 20 years, but our military in the past was being cannibalised for extra funds in other areas. Now our politicians are with their backs against the wall, and have to make up for decades of neglect in 3 – 5 years. Our economic situation, inflation and all is already dire, and with the increased military spending many people are afraid they might not be able to feed their families – with the prices that are around at the moment it is already a reality for many. It is possible that it will be an investment that eventually pays for itself in foreign contracts on military equipment, but I'm afraid it's the regular citizen who will have to pay the price for this development for many years. Every coin has two sides.

  6. With what we are seeing with Russia and Belarus right now, id say Poland would be wise to bulk up their Military. Japan and S Korea needs to do so as well. And (Taiwan), cause I think China has plans for the future and it's not Peace.

  7. Hey, you named the "PIS" hard-right party? PIS is a left-wing party with strong national elements in its program. The right wing is represented in Poland by KONFEDERCJA (7% voices in Parliament) and represents hard nationalism, and hates an ill European democracy. It would be best to learn more about Poland and its political space.

  8. The more kit you have, the more bodies and funds you need to maintian and train on that kit. take a MBT, it needs a trained crew, it needs to be maintained, and it needs support, in the field, which means you need more kit to fuel, to arm, and to heavy maintain. That support kit also needs bodies to train and maintain.
This is why Russia made such a sh*t show of itself. so much of the kit broke down, so much of the support/logistcs broke down.
The budget is not in the buying, its in the maintaining/training and upgrading.

  9. Old news I've already written about this 6 months ago and still growing. Poland will be the biggest manufacturer of weapons in Europe might already be. Poland will not be caught with its trousers down ever again. Plus there is massive American military presence here over a***, ***. Polish people have known about this for over a year, so this is nothing new and has already been covered.
