Is Nick regretting his 20-0 Chiefs prediction after Travis Kelce injury? | What's Wright?

Nobody believes in the Kansas City Chiefs again… at least that’s what Nick Wright is claiming after doubts swirl around his team coming out on top against the Detroit Lions with Travis Kelce questionable. While Damonza asks if Nick is regretting his bet that the Chiefs go undefeated, Nick would like to remind everyone about last year’s Super Bowl, where Patrick Mahomes delivered Kansas City Chiefs a championship win on one leg. Watch as he explains why he hoped Kelce does stay out, an even in his absence, he’s still betting his Chiefs will win.

  1. You can say whatever you want about Nicks 20-0 prediction, but he went out on a limb and didn’t play it safe. The worst part about this is the week one stats, what does the 2023 Lions have to do with mahomes week one performances????

  2. THAT prediction didn't take long to blow up in Nick's face. LOL. The Chiefs NEED both Kelce and Jones back ASAP or things are going to get a lot worse. The Chiefs could only create pressure on Goff by blitzing constantly and that left their DBs exposed, making Goff look like a great (not mediocre) QB. Kelce is the ultimate reliable option to bail out Mahomes so they need Kelce to make Mahomes look like a great (not mediocre) QB. Oh, and someone needs to teach Toney how to catch a football this week.

  4. The arrogance of Nick not wanting Kelce to play to prove a point, is almost as arrogant as going for it on 4th & 25 with more than 2min to go. I hope Nick learned one of the biggest lessons of human history – arrogance brings even the most powerful to their knees.

  5. Let me first start by saying that comparing anybody to Tom Brady is beyond ridiculous. However, if Patrick is supposed to be the next great one, he’s going to have to elevate his teammates around him. How many times did we see Brady without Gronk in his top receivers and go deep into the playoffs reach a Super Bowl and even win one, without his best players out there. That’s one of the many things that made him so special, he elevated the players he had. People forget Patrick Mahomes has had the luxury of players like Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, and a great offensive coach like Andy Reid from the very beginning of his career. Brady never had those luxuries. Patrick is going to have to learn how to win, despite having the very best players on the field if he wants to take those next steps. 💯🤷🏿‍♂️
