  1. I just got a proxy order in with all the custom cards from your cubecobra list, along with a couple from the design competition to test out in my cube. I'm throwing them all in the pool for a week or two for fun, but it's an unpowered cube, so a few of these cards aren't going to last long. Which of the customs do you think is the most broken? I'm betting on Undo, or maybe One With the Universe. Sylvan Emissary seems Jitte-ish in that it makes creature combat so unprofitable for the opponent. Excited to see how it goes!

  2. Can I just say how insane it looks to be passing both power cards??? Like maybe mox ruby could've been spicy to accelerate to 2/3 mana plays, but I see why the enchantment might be more proactive too. Very tough pick there

  3. Hey Caleb I subscribed to the email list June 24th and I haven gotten any of the updates. Might be an issue on my end but I would hate for anyone else to miss out so I thought I would let you know(I did get the official confirmation but that's it)

  4. I've played your cube a ton on MTGA and it often seems correct to me to pass off-colour Moxen and Sol Ring. The curve in the cube is so low (and the coloured mana requirements often so intensive) that the colourless ramp from off-colour Moxen or Sol Ring isn't always useful. It took a while to wrap my head around this but it's cool that you made a cube where the usual powerhouses aren't automatic first picks! That said, not sure if passing Lotus in this draft was right but it wasn't as crazy as it would have been in any other powered cube 😛

  5. I know he's hard-forcing fun archetypes so that we can see them as an audience (fuggin love this cube btw both as audience and player)

But the 'default splashing blue' picks in pack 3 went Black Lotus -> Tinker/Urza -> Mana Drain and that was just so painful to watch.

I definitely still overvalue MD in the context of this cube (avg cmc is wayyyyyy down from modo vintage cube) but it is the JUICE. You just can't pass the juice.

  6. I mean, you say the black lotus skip was a mispick, but there was that one game where exploration was absolute GAS.
Great cube, you passed by a moxen AND black lotus herself and went on to 6 – 0!

  7. I love how you've designed a cube where a card like Valakut Exploration is stronger for a deck than Lotus or Mox!!! That's so cool and unique! Loving this cube so much

  8. Correct me if I’m wrong but in match 3 game 2 shouldn’t the play have been:
1.decay ravager, +1 counters go to zabaz
2.untap and ending zabaz counters disappear cause exiled?
Modular is a dies trigger so exiling the zabaz should have made that a favourable situation for you. Either way you win the match though so I guess it is kind of irrelevant

  9. Am I missing something about the Zabaz vs archbound ravager play? You just abrupt decay the ravager, counters go on Zabaz, then the opponent is tapped out and can't sac Zabaz so they go away when he prismatic endings, and he is just doing with a 2/2.
