sleep arrows are a waste of time and effort, the summon can destract the skinny one while you use rot breath on them and frost stomp the fat one. switch them out depending on which one dies first until they run out of lives
I want to add that you can summon bernahl and an ash summon at the same time during this fight.

I summoned my +10 mimic tear and +25 Bloody Uchigatana and rekt them.
I seriously tried 20 times before seeing the gold summon. Threw Blood Blade on a poison Naga + summons did it in 2. Definitely recommend Blood Blade for massive damage at a distance.
after an hour of frustration, I used sleep arrows and beat them first attempt. Literally saved my life š

The Sekiro Guru has returned.
This never fucking Works. It takes 4 arrows to make him sleep and my summon always hits him and wakes him up. Im pissed bro
if you att them while they are in dying animation u can still do damage to total healthbar

I used st Trina's sword it's very effective
Too many repeat bosses in this game that have been made absurdly difficult by putting stupid design choices in like respawning bosses and cramming multiple bosses in one arena instead of designing a boss thatās actually hard on their own, kind of jarring and is a lazy design choice but I love this game.
Since patch 1.03 the Sword of St. Trina for the sleep is a solid way to go. Beat it using that for crowd control. Leveled it up to +9. It took a few tries but it did the trick.

shot him 8 times an still didnt sleep.
If you really wanna cheese it just make your mimic have the bow and the sleeping arrow and it has unlimited amount so itāll just keep putting them to sleep without u wasting the arrows
