D&D Story: The Graveyard Expedition [The Island]

In this episode of The Island, our party gets a quest from a creepy half elf in a dark cloak, and they take a “peaceful” trip to a graveyard.

This is the second episode of a new dungeons and dragons campaign series that I’m (sort of) animated in 8 bit pixel art! On the far reaches of the world of Arkayes, there’s a mysterious location known only as “The Island”. Whenever anyone is convicted of a crime, instead of taking their usual punishment they can instead opt to be sent to The Island instead. Nobody knows exactly what’s there, and nobody has ever returned.

The party recently arrived there, and now are working to get some quests under their belt so that they can pay for food and get some more experience. Luckily for them there’s a creepy half elf in a dark cloak willing to give them a quest, where he wants them to protect him during his travels to a graveyard (because that doesn’t seem suspicious in any way). The trip to the graveyard quickly gets extremely chaotic as they are attacked by both a pack of boggards who own the territory as well as undead in the graveyard itself. However the fun doesn’t end there, because even after finishing the graveyard expedition and fighting the undead, the party has their peacful time in a tavern interrupted by forces that they don’t yet understand.
