This time I thought I’d show off probably my favourite faction in Company of Heroes 3, the Afrika Korps. They are a hard hitting mobile faction that have some really fun battlegroups. In this one we’ll be trying the Italian Infantry.

  1. company of heroes 2 wasn't even very visually impressive when it came out almost ten years ago but this…this really underwhelms in a new way. it's ironic considering how impressive Company of Heroes 1 and Dawn of War 2 from a visual perspective, everything since then from Relic has been quite poor.

  2. Man afrikakorps looks sooooooo complete . I need to play this before they nerf it into oblivion . Actual grenades , shock troops on steroids , really nice anti tank options and heavy tanks ? Sounds like you are playing 5 doctrines all together

So far from what I watched, game looks bad for 2023 title graphic wise (vfx, textures, models, colours), it has some improvements over previous, like Engineers are not required to build structures which is good. Sound design is mehhh compared to CoH2, hope we will see improvement on this part. I played first two Alpha tests and wasn't impressed, I'm interested mostly in SP experience Campaign and Skrimish so I hope at least AI will be decent .

    On positive note, loads of content at launch, 4 Factions, thank goodness they returned to CoH1 roots with doctrines, commanders were okay but micro transaction and farming them was awful.

  4. You should join AE in some casts when replay comes around for CoH3! To be fair, the medical truck really isn't OP. The Americans have something similar in CoH2, and it can be easily taken out by even a light tank or small arms fire. You just did a decent job protecting it. Had your opponent taken it out quickly, you'd have to rebuild it to be able to heal your infantry versus having a safe place in your base.
