Was in a store yesterday and a song from the 80’s came on … high school. It was one of those groups that had a *really* short time on the radio airwaves. Had not heard from that band in years, let alone this song that was not their monster hit.
What happened though is that I had a chance to go back to a very specific time in my childhood and look at it from a visitor standpoint (be the observer). It was just a flash, a moment, but it helped me connect the “now” with “then” …. and yes, obviously see how much had changed…. but it also helped me bring a little piece of the magic back from “then” into “now”.
That’s kinda what this event is all about — reconnection with the magic. OR depending on the group that shows up, a honing of the magic inside. Part of the magic of this time in history is that the group decides what shows up, along with the prepared notes of course.
