  2. This is so refreshing. The beauty space is incredibly varied, but lately I feel like high end is taking over social media while most people's budgets are actually shrinking. So it's nice to see this incredibly accomplished woman talking beauty in such a down to earth way.

  3. Love the high street budget beauty products as our spends are shrinking atm with the high cost of living, so refreshing. I would love to learn more on the impact of water softener on hair. Thank you ☺️

  4. Aldi Lacura has some interesting skin care in their special buys section sometimes. Love their hot cloth cleansers and their toner with 5 percent glycolic acid. With the costs of everything rising so quickly, I would rather look for cheaper products that I can use lavishly, than have to be stingy with more expensive things. The doc might be interested in some of the ceramide products in Savers atm. I find them better than Cerave as they have oats as well. Lidl has a micellar water for just over a pound that comes in normal or sensitive

  5. I need a water softener!! Move to London from NYC 5 years ago and this is the worst part of living here, the hard water ruining my skin, hair clothes:-( I want to install a water softener – good to see that mentioned here and suggestions for it. Thanks!!

  6. Was so interesting to see Dr. Arif's personal beauty regimen. Would also like her to address basic supplements or medications post-menopausal women can try to address the very frustrating difficulty in focusing that became the norm for me after menopause. I am on HRT which definitely improved the physical symptoms but still have the focus issues. Thank you.

  7. I have enjoyed this so much. Especially because I have fond memories of Chesham. FYI The brand Milani also does a lot baked products which come from the same factory as Laura Geller makeup. Dr Arif, do have a brows on justmylook for brands like Catrice, Essence and Milani, you will not be disappointed. I would love to know your opinion on which type of HRT are more hair friendly please? As well your thoughts on silicons and sulphates, there seems to be so much misinformation.
Thank you ladies, many blessings to you. 💙🙏🏻🕊🌞

  8. Lovely Dr Nighat. So good to see her chatting with Nadine. I was so impressed with with her on BBC Breakfast, all during the pandemic, telling us clearly what was going on. I used to think she and her medical colleagues must have been so exhausted, but not once did Dr Nighat mention that. A truly lovely woman with very lucky patients 🙂

  10. I think the kind of “value” placed on hair is absurd. I wear my hair short and have for over fifty years. When I started to lose my hair from chemo I had my salon simply shave off what was there and was surprised that I was not at all upset by the loss. That fact showed me that I had a much more grounded sense of self than just what I looked like. I also lost eyebrow and some lash as well. It was an emotional eye opener.

  11. My fave mascara of all time is Clinique high impact. Have strayed and tried other ones but quickly give up and go back to the high impact. Never straying again! 🥰

  12. Thank you for this interview. I learned so much and I need this philosophy of frugal skincare and makeup. This has more meaning for me than most of the YouTube channels out there. Well done.
