  1. I disagree on the Saul take, Robin and us always felt the loss, it doesn't take away from the past feelings, it's just good for the present Robin, a reward for enduring years for pain, she and us the audience suffered all the same, for years, the ice melted and he got burned by the fire, it's not that absurd bro, this not Pell, it actually adds to the story
Robin knew Saul for like a week, the rest of the island, clover, archeologists and her mom, affect her way more, you're waaaay over reacting for real for real

  2. Yeah Saul being alive definitely takes away from the flashback. However, I think it could have some great implications for the story going in the future and isn't as improbable as other one piece deaths since he and Aokiji were friends.

  3. KoL, I came to the same conclusion of other reviewers… Saul was frozen by Aokiji but not to be killed, but to be preserved (Aokiji used Ice Time, not Ice Age), then the Buster Call melted the ice and he was heavily burned(explains the bandages) and the Giants saving the books is Hajrudin's crew the new giant pirate crew.

  4. First time I've ever seen the audience be on the weird side of things… if Jag being alive changes nothing then what significance did his death really have? If it had as much as I thought it did I can't understand how its reversal wouldn't change anything. Death is the ultimate form of loss and like KOL said Robin was the sole survivor. That is no longer the case

  5. Kin'emon, Pell, Pound, and Bon all being alive is terrible writing. Saul being alive is the one time it ACTUALLY makes sense. Dude, Saul and Kuzan were friends. And he used a different move to attack Saul. 'Ice Time Capsule'. Also, how much you wanna bet Kuzan told them to leave the books, or froze the lake. He would've been one of the highest ranks present at the time. It all lines up. And why does Saul being alive ruin Robin's backstory? Give my girl a fucking win, jesus. Her whole fucking island including Clover and her mom were killed. Jeez

  6. Now oda don't kill people even in flashback… The impact of that death was super important now it doesn't feel the same . saul being alive and all that speech he told Robin don't hit the same… All that drama emotions for nothing? When one piece end and people will start to make detailed video about one piece that part will definitely be laughed at. Oda could just have pulled with random giant but I understand he wanna use saul cause of the will of D and the giant straw hats .

  7. This man KoL with one of the worst takes. As usual… Saul was never the main loss for Robin. She knew him only for a few days. She lost her f-ing mom and the whole f-ing island. Saul's point is his message to Robin to live & find friends. Each time Aokiji froze people, they survived. This being his friend, it makes perfect sense. Let's not even talk about the emotional impact his reunion with Robin will have and all the lore reveals. My dude KoL is like someone surviving is instantly bad. Even when it makes perfect sense in the story.

  8. Everyone out here worrying about Oda getting too horny. But we forget his real passion for characters with awkward and goofy as f*ck designs!
