Thank you! Would have come across this area at some point but considering ive been traveling the opposite direction who know when it would have been. Already had all the pals and materials to set this up easily. And within a few mins already had close to 100 ingots.

How do you stop transportation pals from getting stuck in the drop/pickup loop?
Tombat is best miner for a long time early as it can mine day and night.
Anubis is great for mining bases since they have lvl 3 mining and lvl 2 transportation they also have lvl 4 handiwork but that shouldn't matter in a mining base.
You can get one pretty early on by breeding a chillet and quivern
Build a wall with one open gate around your mine and an alarm bell. If you don't build a wall your walls can get knocked out by invaders. If you build a wall and close the gate more likely to get flying invaders.
Leave the gate open and they will all channel through it and your palls will demolish them and go back to work
How do you stop them from moving around. I assign one task couple minutes they leave. Ex I assign Penking to the crusher only for him to cut down trees in the next minute.
I keep getting bugs that stop them from working. Like I throw sparkfox into the grill, it will say no work in the vicinity.
This video does not cover coal, sulfur or crystal and those you will need in mid to late game.
I just keep getting a bug where when i leave the base the pals stop mine i come back after 30 mins and they mine non think
As soon as you get access to breeding, you can breed Penking and Tombat to make Bushi, and then breed Penking and Bushi to make Anubis, which has 4 handiwork, 3 mining and 3 transportation, making it extremely good for a mining setup.

I got the jormundtide ignis today… lvl 4 kindling (only). Added 21% boost to his working with souls and god damn…. Can that thing cooooooook.. guy can cook a stack of 1000 refined bars in like 2 minutes 😂😂
(he didnt even have any passive boosts)
Need to find a lvl 4 handyman pal. (If there is one) Cause GD… it’s like 7x faster than a lvl 3 🤯

For the mining bases. Just catch a few dark pals that don't need to sleep and they work 24/7.
The tombat for mining that appears at night and the jellyfish for transporting that appears at caves.
All you need is a feed box and a hot spring. You just refill the feed box every time you go to collect your ores.
Tip, to remove lumbering issue from mining base. Simply build your pal beds on top of the tree spawns, boom no more lumbering 🙂
In all honesty, the BEST pals for base automation, are those with ONLY ONE work skill for them to use in said automation. Pals with too many work skills will tend to spaz out and be overall less productive. Things you want to get done won't get done. That said, there are certain tasks that do not require constant upkeep, and those would be the ones that would be fine to have on a pal with multiple work skills. Chose how you prioritize your pal's workloads wisely.

Just gonna say you don't have to actively pick up the stored resources, the Pals with the transport job will move them to the nearest box.
My main/ore base is just NW of Chillet, 6 or 7 ore nodes (can't remember) and only one access point for raids… a bridge… and like 95% of the time raids despawn before they get to me. Only real downside is of course no coal… there's a good coal spot out by the Anubis Alpha sooo…
This game will be way better when they fix the memory leak issue. I have 64 gigs of memory and it still abuses my rtx 6750xt.
Having fun with it though. for an early access game its pretty fleshed out.
so I built a base at that ore location and for whatever reason it constantly gets attacked…idk if it's a bug but it's super annoying lol
Breeding quivern and chillet = anubis which has mining level 3 transporting level 2 and handiwork level 4.

As soon as I obtain milk, it gets transported to my feed box and my Pal immediately consumes it, I want it to prepare cake… How can I make it that it gets transported to cooler or storage? any help?

a good video, but i will set up now my main house at the ore base. It seams that the pals dont work when you are not at the mining base… i hope that get changed. Everytime i need Ingot or ore i end up doing most by my self because i dont want to just wait on my pals while i stnd idle at the ming base. Or is there a trick i am missing?

So basically play the game and you will learn that ore is not INFINITE but the bottleneck of the game. Unless you whack up the game speed and piss off your graphics card 😀

Using a Ranch, 2 chikcens and a Lambull is 100% better for food efficiency than berries..
Do the logging and stone pit thing regenerate the number of wood and stone that can be farmed from it I saw it had numbers when it reaches zero does it brake or something?

great guide this was helpful with the Pal recommendations that's what I needed. I just made my second base and figured a mining ore operation was the play but now I know who to hunt to get things rolling!
180,-50 is the best location as its got six coal and six ore vains on top of a big hill so its raid proof, it does have a small little bump in the centre of the base but u can build over it and make it the centre of the base its honestly the best mining base in this game
