Palworld – 15 Things You NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY

Few would have expected a Pokemon-like title with cute creatures running around with submachine guns and assault rifles, but Pocketpair’s Palworld offers that and much more. On the surface, it’s all about exploring a massive 3D world and collecting Pals to add to your collection.

However, as a survivor who suddenly appears in this mysterious archipelago, your job is to survive and reach the Towers adorning the land. There’s a lot of resource gathering and crafting involved, along with leveling up your Pals and improving their abilities. However, you can ignore the main objective and explore the world, taking on Dungeons, trading with merchants and much more.

Palworld launches into early access on January 19th. Here are 15 things you should know before jumping in.

  1. Another overhyped game that will die within a month or two.. gamers are weird nowadays.. hate stupid trends that already have been done. (Yes I know, pokemon never had guns).. if you think this is pokemon or anything close, you got a lot to learn… I can see this game drying after 2 months let alone being shutdown completely.. yup, I said it.

  2. Im the only one who dont like the pals/ monster u capture? i dont care about the art of graphic but the fact they look goofy af and not cool at all… Yeah you might see one awesome pal but still very bad if you compare with pokemon monsters or any other game anime etc… Imo badass monster would be better. Pals is only reason want to play the game if i dont like how pals look why to buy this game? to catch pals that i dont even like to see? Critical thinking its the best way to determine before every action of purchase 😉

  3. My problem with this game is how it technically promotes animal cruelty through production. Although YES you can just get your pals to work every once in a while, the game actively slows you down to a crawl unless you turn the pal management machine to brutal or cruel settings. Thus working your pals until their stressed, depressed, hurt, or pretty much down right dead. I would say having them help you garden is fine but when youve got 45 pals trapped in a room and all their existence is just manufacturing assault rifles that kinda goes a little overboard.

So while the concept seems okay I do not promote this game for anyone under the age of 16

  4. I love how the fire creature aluminates the dark cave. "When you summon it."

I think this game is "Objectively IS." Blatantly ripping off multiple other games and to an extent I am okay with that. What they and anybody else creating anything NEEDS to do, is make a unique UI, Flora, Fana, ecosystem, history, politics and ect. When I look at this game it IS NOT new and or creative. IT IS a cookie cutter COPY of MULTIBLE other games. Which to an EXTENT "I think." is okay. Again while watching this game it has many great qualities/features of other games, which definitely makes it a 10/10 FUN game. What I want though is for it to LOOK like its own game and not like anybody else's… WOOT WOOT games are fun, THANK you for making this video.
