  2. I think the tunnels will have one that goes under the FW and road on the West side of the plant to just past where the cistern exists; so just at or past the exterior wall of the building. But they may have to go much further to get under and past all the water management in the area? Another will open on the west side of the road past the freeway for model Y's that are coming out just north of the main entrance to the factory. Whether that is done in the area they are setting up now is anyone's guess. I think Joe had said the permit had 4 tunnels?

  3. Hertz's mistake was over estimating rental demand of EV's relative to ice vehicles. They also said that the accidents were more costly. But in reality more expensive cars cost more to fix and the bulk of their rentals are less costly because the cost to rent is lower. Now that Tesla has a demo system I think they should be educating drivers on how to try a Tesla with ads. As Hertz stated they will rebalance inventories as sales permit. Rather than stick it out with Dealerships to artificially prop up new auto prices. But the consumer isn't buying the shortages narrative anymore. The next big drop in auto prices is June as new and used dealers leave the car industry in bankruptcy or buy out from the manufacturer.

  4. 59:40 The amazing thing is it's not even 6,000 Superchargers … it's over 6,000 Supercharger sites in the world.

In North America alone, with an average of 10 or more Supercharger stalls per site, we're talking several tens of thousands of working stalls capable of 250 kW charging each!

  5. Today's lesson on climate change: for liberal politicians and the MSM (State Media), climate change is a power grab opportunity. When it fails to achieve that goal, they throw it in the back seat. No matter that Elon has single handedly done more for climate change than any other single entity, he refuses to bend the knee. If climate change isn't delivering on the power grab, toss it. Politicians and the State Media are the greatest Greenwash scam of all time.

  6. In areas where people are waiting in line for chargers wouldn’t it make sense to have some sort of check in and cueing management either via the app or in the car software. Put a geo fence around it so that if a driver leaves the location they lose their spot in line ect. This could easily be implemented through software.

  7. Re Elon's ownership stake and wanting to get to around 25% ownership (once options are exercised). Remember, when he had co-founded PayPal, a coup took place while Elon was away on his Honeymoon (I think) that ousted him from PayPal. He lost share control of PayPal. The others banded together. Elon was wanting to take the Company in a different direction, mainly re Banking/Financial Services and the others didn't want that. They wanted short term profits. Note: Elon is going to introduce many of the Financial features he wanted for PayPal, into X! X will look and be like be a combination of PayPal/Alibarba/Ebay/oldTwitter/Facebook. Mmmm interesting.
Plus, remember Elon Co-founded OpenAI as a Not-for-Profit putting in something like $50-80 Million initially. Somehow??? OpenAI developed ChatGTP, changed to a For Profit and was purchased by Google. So, Elon once again lost control of something he had co-created. (Boy, was he pissed off!)
So, he does not want to both introduce some new products he has spinning around in his head nor dramatically expand his current AI with Tesla, if there was a strong possibility of control being wrestled away from him in a "coup" like situation. His cashing in a large bunch of Tesla shares to buy Twitter has left him vulnerable at Tesla.
Plus, remember, he does not get a salary at Tesla: only his remuneration package that he has already achieved most if not all of the various Bonus marks. So, until he gets a new Remuneration package, he is effectively working for FREE! at Tesla. As he said, he doesn't see the other large shareholders physically working at Tesla: just him! The bonus points in this future package should be enough to get him the options necessary to bring him up to 25%, once achieved and exercised.
Personally, I think he should have it. MY Tesla shares would rocket! LOL.

  8. I don't mind content rich hour long episodes but the in show ads are getting out of hand, it opens on an ad, then few min later climate exchange, cybertruck owners club, now let's review, henson shaving, patreons, disruptive investing, etc. Maybe pic a few per episode but do they need to be in every episode.

  9. I really hope these EV credits intended to “put charging locations in low income areas” doesn’t result in them being in dangerous areas and discouraging their use
