The JR Hanasaki Line stops at this remote station that’s just an old train car.

I get lost and frustrated when I try to get to the opposite side of a train tracks. I’m like do I go underground or above or on land to get there? I end up in circles somehow and back to where I started. Lol
Definitely a Geoff Marshall station.
I feel like someone wants me to be alone. Wants to isolate me from everyone. Have no social life. Because they are jealous. They don’t want me to be lively so they kill me often. And now I’ve got insomnia.
Only in Japan will you find a quiet unattended railway station in the middle of the nowhere that only gets a few trains a day that has a clean waiting room that is open to use. Probably cleaned & looked after by local retirees (retirees do this all over Japan, in both country and city areas) 👍
I live in Osaka and so forget there are places like this all over Japan.
I love this country and it's people!
You have the best luck with finding wildlife. Great series.
nice chairs in the station. do locals eat venison? shiba inu fox and man in red. fox good luck. relaxing watch thanks John
Wow don't miss that train!!!! 🚉😁✌🏻
Spin out that fox in the day!!!👁👁
Bettoga – a place to visit.
Been to many of these rural unmanned stations in the Japanese countryside with just my JR Pass. Each one of them has their own charm.
Unless you're renting a car like John has, then it wouldn't be a problem visiting these unmanned stations. Otherwise you would need to do your homework to know the train times for each station, or you'll be stuck for hours, or even overnight, waiting for the next train to come.
What? No convenience store next to the train station? Unacceptable, Japan!! Sheesh!
Blessed by the fox. Thanks John.
Dont forget to put you're mask on inside the train station!! .
Very reminiscent of Grand Central NYC. 🤣🤣 Great video 2x👍
A caboose in its better day.
If you put 別当賀駅 in the Search window, you can see a handful of Japanese YouTube videos going back at least eight years.
Wow! A fox! I swear you must be the animal whisperer. Now you have to think of some good why did the fox cross the road jokes. Also, I would never think you are in Japan – it looks like you are in the middle of Kansas.
Strong 💪 John, you are the only person there stay safe‼️👍
I really like these quaint small stations. And it’s in typically tidy condition you’d expect in Japan. And nice to see the fox, if that’s what it was. One of my favourite animals.
Let him be. He is used to people and feels you are okay.
Can we negotiate a crowd fund to freshen up the train station with some Tremclad in exchange for an onsite OiJ vending machine and prominent logo placement? Love the small towns John.
Also re the apt….totally down for more Camping with the Daubs.
Great livestream just like being there.
Some day my feet will touch Japanese soil.
Keep up the great work.
This place has a bit of southern US look.
