Royal Caribbean has launched the largest cruise ship in the world, Icon of the Seas. NBC’s Sam Brock hopped aboard to tour the massive ship to see all it has to offer, including the largest swim up bar at sea, Broadway’s “The Wizard of Oz” and the Crown’s Edge walk that allows passengers to dangle along the side of the ship.

Like a cheap loud waterpark
All this sounds amazing, but I've been on the Allure (which is "only" 225K GT, but at these sizes, they all seem very similar) and was the worst of the many cruises I've taken. You literally couldn't pay me to go on a ship of this size anymore, especially because of the number of people but for several other reasons as well. And all the gimmicks they add to the ship are ridiculous. I cruise to cruise, and if I want to do any of those things, there are much better alternatives on land.
Awesome cruise ship! I'm definitely going on it next summer for my 25th birthday gift. This will be fun and awesome!

These new ships are great. The fact that at this point Titanic is still used as a measuring stick says alot about what it was to the world in 1912. It was also amazing for that time considering comercial aviation wasn't a thing yet. I haven't cruised in years so It will be cool to experience these. They will never be more famous than Titanic though unless one goes down. 10k people on one ship is crazy lol!
We just got off of a Celebrity Cruise and saw this in the port of Miami. It's HUGE!

oh my god there is no way that CocoCay has the capacity for ten thousand people. I was there on a small cruise ship and it was already a nightmare of crowds and prices and everything. Cant imagine half of the people getting off of this boat and being about to have a good time on that private island.
Ya know, they built titanic to be the worlds grandest floating hotel. These cruise ships now just remind me of a mega mall on the ocean. Why don't people decorate ships like titanic anymore?
