calling bo4 terrible when mw3 is out there is a crime
I still play bo3 more than every cod since other than the og warzone
I want to be able to play on my Xbox account on pc with my friends who play on Xbox on b02 and b03
Failing? It failed after a week of release XD
I wonder if Lex ever gets tired of complaining about zombies lmao
4 four for
When I see damage point numbers pop up for zombies, it just reminds me of Borderlands
Its simple how they ruined it, they changed everything that actually made zombies, zombies since bo4. Gameplay went unchanged since day 1 then all at once you change the perks, pack a punch, point system, and HUD. Along with terrible launch maps bo4 was destined to fail and theyve never recovered since
Kill feed and medals are so annoying in zombies
Black ops 4 was the final true zombies experience
I feel like they're trying to distract from how bad the map looks in zombies now.
Zombies was meant tp be magical, whinsical, over the top. Not whaever the hell this modern take is on MW3 and Cold War.
Look dude story wise, I’d let yall have that, but gameplay is on a hol new level. Yall gotta understand since waw zombies damn near been the same thing with minor changes, maybe per map would have a different gimmick, but it all felt the same shit got boring they had to evolve and make something fun again. Bo4, Cold War, and mw3 changing zombies forever, stop bitching about the past and have fun
90% of cod kids never shot a real gun
Compass is for BR games only like cmon now
20:12 for story missions on MWZ, if you look at the map it shows the next mission, but still you are right it’s not displayed in a useful way to keep track of what to do. Also the tracking on it sucks so there is that
Sadly I doubt they’ll ever go back to what we consider good zombies again (pre-bo4 for me, but CW was okay) especially since battle royale zombies is successful to Warzone fans; even if they do a bo2:2 or bo3:2 it’ll have that coating of modern Warzone cod it won’t be like the old games
Aside from the mini map and compass, I'd say CW's mini map is pretty good. Death perception is an even better perk without the mini map. With other stuff like zombie health bars, damage numbers, and the text that pops up when you kill a zombie, it should all have an option to toggle on/off in the menu. To me, it is pretty satisfying seeing a bunch of yellow text after getting headshots or seeing a bunch of text pop up quickly after using shatterblast on a hoard. I do see why not many would like this. Seeing the damage numbers can also be satisfying when testing weapons to see if you can get 1,000,000 damage on one shot without AAT's.
For perspective, DayZ players barely use a compass.
I’ve literally never used the compass in any game ever
i really liked cold war personally for the gameplay loop
I love how there's so many genuine reasons as to why these four games suck eggs but good ol lex claims zombies is failing because the hud is mid. Bro is paid to nitpick and it shows.
Every game should strive to achieve a Dead Space HUD/UI. Not saying every game should be exactly that, but it should have that as a goal. Integrate the information into the game rather than overlaying it.
5:50 I’m sorry but are you slow? 99.9% of the playerbase doesn’t give a fuck about where the rounds counter is, not everyone is a streamer ffs. Of all the problems the BO4’s HUD has you picked the most stupid one.
The issue that these "casual-friendly" elements cause if that devs think with the idea that everyone that goes into zombies is fully alone in figuring out shit on their own, which that mentality is plaguing the mode entirely. It is only up to you to figure out where part X is or where location Y is when we live in the age of information. THATS WHY WE HAVE YOU GUYS. Milo, GlitchingQueen, etc if you needed to know where the shield parts were for IX or SoE you googled it and watched the tutorial if you didn't want to explore the map to find them, and after a couple games guess what each shield location is memorized through repetition, and you've become a better zombies player. The devs putting all these casual friendly elements like the minimap to hold the players hand is both bottlenecking the skill of new players and also insulting the veteran players by not having the option to turn some of this useless stuff off because 1 theoretical noob might need it. The devs/higher ups need to realize this and bring zombies back to an era where the soul of the game takes priority being cryptic and unique with each entry, as opposed to soulless with no personality and hand holding the player in an attempt to be more "accessible".
This will most likely be an unpopular opinion but I really don’t have a problem with any cod zombies game IW,WW2,BO4 etc except vanguard even the hud for bo4 wasn’t that much of a problem for me but I have to agree that the warzone elements in zombies shouldn’t even be a thing for a PvE mode it’s kinda pointless
