For anyone wondering if the tail can be broken or not,
It can only be severed if he's in 1000 degree blade stage, under normal condition you can only broke it.
Dude Divine blessing is such an underrated ability.

for situations like the glavenous tail where they need to be enraged to slice it.
you can force an enrage by wallbanging the monster with clutch claw to head.
have a look up wallbanging them 🙂 could be helpful for you in general.

1:10:05 Made me laugh so hard. All experienced hunters have tried to apply this logic even though it doesn't work like that in the slightest 😂. We hope if we carve the monster's wing, we'll get a wing, so on and so forth. Watching Asmon do what we've all done and somehow manage to get the carve he wanted was great.

I've always said, large brute wyverns are a rough matchup for GS unless you're extremely familiar with their movement. their bodies are long with their feet acting as a pivot point that can take their head or tail 30 yards away in an instant. They really require a deep understanding of both the weapon and the monster to do well relative to other the other monster types if you want to have good sustained DPS.
