  1. Hello Tony as far as these new mega ships are concerned i wont be on any of them there're too big although i have been on Ovation 8 times. I will be on Queen Elizabeth on the 22nd for 10 days now thats an elegant ship great service and food and room service included just love it.

  2. One of the crew who work on Icon of the seas video taped them at Royals private island. They video tapped it up close standing next to the ship it’s huge i was on Symphony 2 years ago and that ship is huge. So if i was standing next to Icon that would be crazy cool

  3. Hi Thanks for the coverage of the new vessels for 2024. I guess my frustration is with North American vlogs all mentioning the large vessels and only a few cruise lines. You good friend Don is a great example as never mentions Oceania, Silverseas, Viking, RSSC,
(Know Don is on RSSC from Rio for 7 days but he will miss the shows), expedition vessels etc.
when they have issues. Not sure if many of the bloggers have done the smaller premium cruise boats. We see the world like for 2024 weeks have 123 days, 35 countries and 93 ports in 4 cruises on no boat larger than 1000 people. Does not include the pre cruise post land trips we organise for ourselves.
Tony love your daily news stories and the way your use the English language.

  4. Good morning Tony and Don. I had to come back and watch till the end. We lost power. Had 65 mph winds. Nothing like all 4 seasons in 24 hours. Anyway, you all have a busy couple of months coming up. It sounds amazing. Shout out to Jenny B. ( I know she was in the house). As always thank you for all you do ❤❤

  5. I just booked a cruise and downloaded the app. The website is still awful. The app may be better than it was but I'm not sure. The problem I have is that the person I'm traveling with has a really poor relationship with her smart phone. I'm going to have to do all of it for her. However, she does have some computer skills and could manage all the 'stuff' on her computer. It is very frustrating. I also made an error when adding my info but can't find a way to correct it.

Also, a question, if you know. I have tried several times to look at Princess Air on the website and get nothing. Is there a secret?

Another question: I tried to access 'bidding' and couldn't get anything. What is your experience with this?

  6. I think they are overpacking private islands with guests. I was on Half Moon Cay which I love but they didn’t have enough clam shells for guests who purchased them and the service and food was subpar.

  7. Disney by far the best cruise line we have been on so far (Magic, Fantasy). More beverages included, room service not an extra charge, no casinos wasting valuable real estate, castaway cay adult area not an added charge. Their onion soup not the best but otherwise the food was very good in dining room and buffet. Did not try the 2 specialty restaurant options on the Fantasy. Trying our first Princess cruise July 2024 to Alaska with Premium package, looking forward to see how this line compares.

  8. We have been on 105 passenger American cruises on the Snake River. It is for an older crowd, we wouldn't go again for at least 20 years and I am 60. Great service and excursions and happy hour, but too slow for us. We have also gone on 48 passenger Celebrity Xebition to the Galapagos, and that one I would do again in a heartbeat!!! Small exebition cruises are definitely my style! Great service. Totally different than large cruise ships. 😅
I love large cruise ships for the amount of things to do. Heading out on Sunday on the Cwrnival Horizon.

  9. The single overcharge is the dumbest thing I ever heard! We rarely spend a dime onboard! We don't do specialty dining unless it is included, we don't do art auctions or spend $ in the shops. Depending on the line, we do beverage packages but other than that, we do free incuded stuff. About the only thing we spend $ on is shore excursions which we do one at every port.

  10. We drive from Atlanta but NEVER stay IN Ft. Lauderdale when sailing from there. We will stay Ft. Pierce, Port St. Lucie, Vero Beach, etc. anyplace that is about an hours drive. Hotels are cheaper, drive is easy and we park at "Park n' Go". Parking there is MUCH cheaper than the cruiseport and have never had to wait on a shuttle. If you fly in, that would be a totally different situation.

  11. I agree I love whatever ship I am blessed to be on. I am a Princess girl so hope to get on the Sun this year. I also want to try Galveston and do the new Carnival. . I think the Icon is amazing, but probably wont get to that one anytime soon, like forever. Ha. Travel and cost are always a factor for me. Thanks for this great review. You two are great working together. ❤

  12. Our world is becoming increasingly selfish 😒 Had terrible neighbors on our 7nt DCL cruise. Only used our verandah 2days. Smoking and loud voices were my main concerns. Bad behavior needs To be addressed properly as the cruise line did for you Don. I should have reported but was intimidated by this large family that also took charge of the elevators. Be kind thank you Don for your videos!
