Nix doesn't display NFL skill sets.. bubble screens and wide open dudes from a hurry up and snap it with your pants down offense isn't gonna follow him to the NFL
The definition of why they lost to washington 3 games in a row is because in known passing situations Nix could NOT throw them out of 3rd and disadvantaged yardage situations.. which lead to repeated 4th down attempts that they failed on… and in the NFL that defines who is good and who is a bust
NFL evaluators as we get close to the draft will not like Nix, some will… but he isn't excelling at doing "NFL things" He is literally the recipe for how teams pick busts.
People who keep talking about Washingtons pass catchers as if his receivers carried him simply don't know what they are talking about…. it would make sense if they was making a bunch of highlight catches and diving catches and one hand catches. BUT THAT ISN'T what is happening. Everything is right between facemask and the middle of the numbers on their jersey. It is unique ball placement… i would go further and say, swap Texas skill positions with Washingtons and he would still be doing the samething. They have 2 potential day one pass catchers and a day 2 pass catcher…. why aren't those guys putting up numbers?.. BECAUSE OF THE QUARTERBACK
I have no problem at all with Nix early in the second round, probably not the first.
Trade your 3rd rd to the bears for fields, get best available RB, OL or DL in first 2rds, sign fields to a decent deal, run offense one more time with kurt while fields sits and learns the offense without the pressure and roll the dice with him after next year
He is not the QB we need nothing against him but can't take this one we will be set back again we need one that can be top 10 out the gate and top 5 to 3 in year 2
