  1. Duncan, Dragon and Diamond are some of the latest high tech ships out there purposely keeping everything inside so the Russians can’t photograph and research them. The UK has been experts in Soviet tactics for years the Russians have shown they aren’t skilled anywhere enough

  2. Check out the "Fat Electrician" . Combat Vet who served in the Middle East. He has great military history videos of American military men, battles, and other tales of crazy adventures. One I like Seabees in the Korean War went on a mission to steal a North Korean train, along the mission they robber a brewery. No problem for the Seabees.

  3. Just NOW
The Indian Navy's marine commandos MARCOS have rescued 21 crew members, including 15 Indians, from a bulk carrier in the North Arabian Sea. Responding to a distress call to British authorities from Liberian flagged MV Lila Norfolk saying five-six armed men were trying to hijack the vessel, Navy's elite commandos intercepted the ship, approached and boarded it and rescued the crew. They didn't find any pirates on the ship. A video of the operation has gone viral.

  4. The Navy deployed a warship, maritime patrol aircraft, helicopters, P-8I and long-range aircraft, and Predator MQ9B drones following the MV Lila Norfolk incident.

"All 21 crew including 15 Indians onboard the vessel were safely evacuated from the citadel," Indian Navy's spokesperson Commander Vivek Madhwal said.

"Sanitisation by MARCOS commandos has confirmed the absence of the hijackers, he said.

He said that the hijackers abandoned the ship because of a warning by the Navy.

  5. The SAMPSON radar on the T45 destroyers can track targets out to 250 miles (unclassified) including targets in space, and can track hundreds of targets at once whilst simultaneously engaging with the Sea Viper system using ASTER 15 and ASTER 30 missiles. They're set to be upgraded to support CAMM too, allowing for even more missiles to be carried. It also has a second, complementary long range radar called the S1850M.

  6. Interesting that considering they were about to be swarmed not one person wore anti flash possibly one of the most personal protection lesson learned from the Falklands War this was definitely a display put on for the cameras or a complete lack of leadership

  7. As an Irish citizen I would like to extend my thanks and gratitude to the UK Air Force for providing air cover from frequent russian incursions into Irish air space. We have recently had the russian navy conducting manoeuvres off the coast of Ireland. On a couple of occasions the russian navy has held its manoeuvres over underwater information and communication cables. The implied threat of these russian incursions on our air and sea territory is obvious and requires a stern response. Unfortunately Ireland doesn’t have an airforce of its own and the Irish navy is under financed.

  8. Respect the fact you served in the Army. However, as an ex RAF Radar and Aerospace systems Operator who was responsible for Air Defence I think it a good idea if you refrained from stopping the video and giving an explanation, your lack of understanding and knowledge was very apparent.

  9. Don't know what all the fuss is about? Russia would be no match for todays generation X sailors. As long as Russia don't start using tactics that should be banned, such as mis gendering the crew. If that happens its curtains.

  10. not a good situation a ship is basically sitting duck with ocean waiting to swallow it and aircraft flying at different altitudes at subsonic and sonic speeds ( from different directions ) armed with hypersonic missiles who knows there may be pilots doing one-way ( no return ) mission a ship may have 2 or 4 guns? missiles that may bring down 3-4 planes how do you engage dozen in clever attack formation? some at 6 feet some at 3000 some at 300 with rehearsed coordinated attack you may send up sailors to engage them with 50 mm weapons means you got to disintegrate targets flying at 1000 km/hr before they hit into the vessel ( meantime other sailors are getting life rafts ready ) you could also call in air support from a sister aircraft carrier ( probably little late )

  11. If Russia wanted to smack our navy then it would be pounded with ease , even the US can’t stop smart hypersonic anti ship missiles . ( for anyone who says otherwise then listen to the US admiral and then you say you know better “ grifters at the pentagon “ is the video ) . They should show our sailors and politicians the last Russian sea live fire test . that’s not a hms Sheffield hit , no it’s a nothing survives hit and it can’t be stopped . RAF got taught a lesson not so long back when two Russian jets fired two missile across the nose of our planes to say “ we ain’t playing “ . We meddling in the wrong sea and poking the wrong bear , rishi and grant at the helm of hms insanity . I’d rather see our sailors near our shores still alive thank you very much . Our navy Pee’ing of Russia is like us going into battle without body armour on , yeah remember when the government told us “ it’s just not that important to spend that money on “ , same crap different scenario . https://youtu.be/NvuAczgX6Uc?si=TIBRA0dqI0DtLNRn

  12. "They have 17 aircraft but we have 48 missiles", or put the other way they have one target and you have 17? I have no doubt the ship is very capable but even in Ukraine a crappy low tech Iranian drone can still get through?
