  1. I think maybe they saw the complaints about the dlc art style so there making the track more of what Mario kart 8 art style is and that why it's taking a bit to announce

  2. I really think that it is likely that Nintendo is saving Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass Wave 2 DLC for September since they just want to clear things up.

  3. Instead of releasing new tracks for MK8, they should put all those resources into making MK9 with an entirely new formula with new/returning iems like the mega mushroom.

Don't know about you but I'm getting kinda bored of MK8 now.

  4. The other day, I saw an ad on TV talking about Expansion Pass. That's funny because in France (I live in France), I never saw any ads about the DLC. It came out a few months ago, and we had big leaks, and now they're doing a new ad? Hmm…

  5. Tbh, as cool as new tracks would be, I’m actually tired of the neglected character roster of MK8 (deluxe my foot), they NEED to add the characters they’ve been putting in Mario Kart Tour into the Mario Kart 8!! Again, for a game to put DELUXE on the title, they sure lack content in it.

  6. Nintendo love to do the minimum- like the 3D all stars collection and the mobile graphics DLC. Even switch sports had great potential but they took out the replay value of resort and just 6 sports at release is poor imo. When the switch released, especially after the Wii U flop they had to sell this thing and pump out some great games. But now they see the success of the switch, they believe they don’t need to do much more to keep it alive which is a shame for us.

  7. I kinda agree with people saying they may end up modifying the first wave to fix up the graphics however i also wouldn't be surprised if coconut mall had the moving cars added back especially since tour just realised the same track with the moving cars which kinda baffles me tbh

  8. What do I think Nintendo is doing? Sitting on the thumbs like idiots. They have really dropped the ball on Mario Kart in the last few years. And once Disney releases their racing game, it's going to blow up in their face

  9. Guys we can be mad beacause there is nothing happening but look it to the bright side this wave takes longer to release so an other wave is going to release faster 🙂

  10. I’m pretty sure the dlc is taking a long time bc Nintendo is working on other games such as Mario strikers, they are refixing the textures such as buildings and grass in wave 1 bc ppl didn’t like it, or bc their 30th anniversary is coming up

  11. I've lost all faith for Nintendo, Mario kart have been my favorite game since MK Wii came out, and knowing how out of touch and just stupid Nintendo is when I comes to their fan base it wouldn't surprise me if they just don't release anything until next year and then rush the rest of the booster pack or extended the release date of the booster pack from the end of 2023 to around 2024/2025
