Tenet is a fantastic movie– fuck the haters. It is far from Nolan's worst as The Dark Knight Rises or Memento could easily take that spot. I don't understand people's confusion regarding the movie's plot development– it's tough and does take some time to wrap one's head around conceptually but isn't terribly difficult to figure out in practice if you stop and think about it for a bit. There are a few videos on YouTube that do a great job of breaking down the way timelines in the film intersect as well, which make great supplementary material if one is interested. The film is also an excellent story exploring the nature of free will vs determinism. Didn't understand all the hate the film was getting when it first released and still don't understand it now.
