As someone who has gone through depression, the things he did were not 100% because he's an asshole, but because he just wanted some happiness to help him forget the deep sadness he held inside him, even if it was just for a moment, that made him reckless in his approach to women, open relations, cheating and acting very flirty with the Link cosplayer, or like people do drugs or recklessly buy stuff just to fill that void I was the same but with food, I kept eating and eating even if I wasn't hungry, just to get my mind off thinking of doing the deed, It's hard to fight that feeling, especially when you feel like you have nothing to fight for, it's sad for someone that have touched and brought joy and entertainment to so many to end like this, I wish I had something nice to say, but this situation just sucks overall…

I don't believe in any sort of afterlife or rebirth, but hearing of people who commit suicide makes me wish those sorts of things existed. It's just not fair. A couple months ago I lost someone to suicide. She was the sweetest girl. too young. she was 24. RIP Kassandra and RIP Reckful.
Open relationships never work its just an excuse to cheat if your going to cheat atleast be honest about it

One very important point in his life that this video did not mention is how he did call a suicide hotline at one point and was put in a psych ward for it, and the way they treated him there ruined his mental health further and made him afraid of seeking further professional help.

What is this comment section? He was a manchild who became more depressed and traumatized from losing video games, and he was a serial adulterer. This all seems silly. Am I supposed to respect the guy because he made videos on the internet? All I see is a man who enabled and let his own gaming addiction prevent him from living a meaningful life. Instead of substance abuse, tweeting, and airing his life online, he should've taken a step back and put more effort into helping himself. He had the resources and money. What the hell is wrong with you people? Is this Idiocracy? Why do most of you make me feel like I'm in twilight zone?
This was on my feed. I'm not a gamer by anymeans but I am bipolar 2. We see a lot of his behaviors in our community. I don't know if he took any meds. But it took me years to find the right combination. I teared up for he seemed to be a good person overall. But sometimes the depression is so deep that you'll do anything to make it stop. Even if it means ending your life, you'll do that. The only advice I could give is to keep trying med after med after med until you find the right ones.

I will never understand the hype about him. He was an average wow player, nothing important. He never won anything, he was carried hard and his teammates abandoned him due to his toxic behavior.
