It's really weird for me to see the 3 speccs simming so far apart from each other for you. For me it is literally:
Demo – 227k
Aff – 225k
Destru – 225k
I guess I have too much haste for Demo

i hate that buffs come through when most ppl probably have achieved what they wanted to this season
Funny thing is Demo is the only reason why I dont play with lock, also the only spec what Blizzard likes :S
The buff Aff needs is to make Crescendo baseline and let us use that extra point somewhere on the bottom talent set. That would open an insane funnel profile (can run the buffed dark harvest without losing darkglare), and maybe even haunted soul+dread touch builds with phantom singularity and 1 point in soul-eater gluttony could be a thing. Plus the increased opportunity to play talents like wrath of consumption.
Just too bloated on the bottom of the tree especially when our tier set is having invest so many points in soul rot talents.
Tried experimenting with destro on Smolderon prog since I'm happier on it and it felt like I was doing more or less the same damage between it and demo, but figured there was more optimization in demo if I got comfortable since destro was a comfort pick. Been playing destro on heroic clears / boosts and enjoying it, but by the time I hit Tindral / Fyraak it always feels sensible to swap.
Demo loses so little to get implosion that the alternatives feel a tad silly. The other two specs feel like they need to do jump through a lot of hoops to get pretty finnicky AOE. Demo tosses a point or two and gets an amazingly bursty profile.
Fairly happy that destro is doing as well as it is, but it feels like Flashpoint / Havoc don't bring enough this tier to make it compete with the ways demo can gain an advantage on non-target dummy fights.

Keep it up big dog i know times can get discouraging and hard to do things, but keep it up. You are so much further along than our nights pounding away at the target dummies in Zuldazar talking about BoDa. I remember it well. Good memories tho. Keep on keepin on big dawg

ID as aff on council actually isn’t that bad you can always soul rot the 2 that are stacked and drain life the one you missed and it still hits all 3
Warlock feels so bad right now. Destro talents need a rework, aff is too clunky and needs a talent rework, and demo is… i mean what i can say we are taking naked tyrant for gods sake.
I think malefic rapture is a horrible ability, idk why blizzard dislikes dot dmg classes so much. I get it becomes meta but not everyone can play it so it becomes a bit of a skill expression and not whoever has the best gear and fotm class with pi and aug buffs zzz
@Kalamazi i think you you should get your hands on an Augury and do some destro parsing, i'm telling you it is just as good and sometimes better than belor's on destro and I have a feeling it has a lot to do with chaos bolts being considered always a crit and as such no augury proc really gets wasted. Is why i asked you on stream the other day if you think raidbots is parsing it correctly for destro because my hours of dummy parsing just doesn't agree with the bot….
Yooo that's me with the top log on Volcoross haha. We almost lost that log due to our usual logger not being in on the kill. Destro feels very RNG if you parse well or not 😀
Yes it rising! Dont tell me otherwise. Went into LFR with 4 other destro locks and we were all top 5 LOL. Went into Mythic and ranked in top 4. Pls blizz let it stay this way!

if you switch some of your gear in aff to haste mastery, it will sim pretty close to demo, but probably about 3-4k behind.

Kal, currtently im aff in arena, im good at it, but i dont wanna play a meme spec, should i stay aff? If not, would you recomend me to change spec ?
PS on Tindral is taken because VT is limited to 8 targets and it doesn't guarantee that you will apply VT to Tindral when roots come out.
should i use imp or succubus for raiding as destro?
