Right now the best way to level up armorsmithing in New World is by making common honing stones. You’ll need boat loads of fire motes, death motes, and stone blocks.
There are no New World weaponsmithing cheats, exploits, or glitches to abuse, at least, not that we know of. If I find a New World xp glitch for Weaponsmithing I’ll post about it, although, using New World cheats is against the rules and may lead to a ban, so be careful when you find videos about them.
Back to the New World weaponsmithing xp guide. There are lots of New World weaponsmithing tips and tricks in the video. You’ll find out the best places to farm starmetal, orichalcum, fire motes, and death motes in New World.
Getting max level weaponsmithing in New World takes a really really long time, and it’s expensive if you buy materials, but it lets you make some of the strongest weapons in New World.

Craft 25 of the rapier’s to get to lvl 50 I believe and then the stones for the rest. That’s what I’ve been doing between two worlds and it seems to work fine

I found doing the town board for weapons was good as more efficient on resources and get decent xp for yourself and the profession.
Firemotes are hugely valuable for LOTS of things end game, including crafting the attunement orbs. Would totally recommend you do NOT use them this way.

Its really stupid that you need like 5 other skills just to craft one high level weapon. It makes no sense.
WAIT A SECOND…. Your telling me make the tier 0 stuff all the way to lvl 200 is best priced per exp? Is that what I missed on thr clothing crafting? I started making all boots. Level 0 level 50 and so on….. am I wrong?
Is it more feasible to craft iron weapons to level up, or use the iron to make steel and then craft steel weapons?

There are also foods that boost the gear score of crafted items.
Savory Vegetable Medley gives 15 gear score to both low- and topend. It's a rare chest drop from 56+ areas and needs cooking oil (fish oil+nuts).
Roasted Vegetable Medley gives 12 gear score, recipe drops from 36-58 chests and also needs cooking oil.
Herb-crusted Broccoli gives 10 gear score and is really easy to get.

I made a count and need craft 348 raipers at 78 to 100, means 2436 iron ingots and 41800 xp.
not all weapons in the list give weapon smithing xp like hatchet gives engineering just so you all know before decide to make them without actually looking.
cutlass keys is 40s, just so yall know, i went there cause it was the first area so "lower lvl" as an lvl 18 i guess im SoL
