I havent even finished the vid and I agree with everything you've said, except, I prefer lights embrace over sacred ground. It really pisses me off when I'm staggered out of and can't get back into my sacred ground.
I used SG in the betas, but once we all went live I made the change to LE. Works great.

I've been soloing 45 group corruptions since I was GS500 as great axe and its much faster (300 str, rest con). If you can solo 55 I will think more highly of this build. Nice that you can heal during dungeons AND clear 45's solo though. I solo AOE farm Scorpius (50 elites) to help level my lower level friends. Great axe has great healing on its own with Mending Execute and Insatiable Gravity Well.
Also, telling people to just craft 100 Orchalcum weapons to get the perks they want? Really? Just shop the auction house to find these perks. Good weapons are super cheap.

Unless they fix it tomorrow, the FOC gems don't currently work, many of my friends tried and the scaling is broken.
But what stats on the armor? Strength? Or just more focus? Do I want to have 400 focus?

Any weapon will let you solo any mob 😂 just spec properly. Pump all stats into a single stat and just roll heavy gear because light and medium armor dmg bonuses are incorrect multipliers. You can search the dmg tables online, the dmg multipliers in the game are allllll sorts of fucked up. 😂
I find the hatchet better than the great axe for this. Also, putting 50 points in con is fine as well. Pretty much any high focus will allow you to solo. I have 350 hours in the game and have only done a full focus build with 50 con alternating hatchet and great axe. Great axe is great in pvp for evasion and escaping gravity wells if you're wearing medium or heavy armor and can't roll. It's still good tips though but people are gonna cry "it needs to be nerfed"… nah it doesn't. It's healing. You'll be fighting bosses for a long time if you want to solo when you could easily pug a group and do it way faster. It's a lifestyle choice, healers aren't insanely OP, they're just obnoxious and great for solo pve players.

Great explanation, can il level up qith a build like this? i'm 45 and want to do I build similar a paladin. This seem to do the trick but not sure if i'm gonna do enough damage at my level with the gear that i find in quest, or drop
