I think the Splash Mountain add in was a tribute to 2023 along with current rides still in operation.

Seeing Splash on this was quite a welcome shock. So many people now are saying Tiana's is going to be so much more beautiful.. but I'd think even a flop would be more beautiful to the purposeful degradation the Disney company put Splash Mt through in the past decade, never giving it a major refurb to fix all the issues or contemplating a seasonal overlay. They just flat out gave up on it because they wanted to change it — the guests however, just wanted a good ride.
So fun to ride Splash again! Thank you for including it! 💙
