The race to colonize Mars has been on full throttle ever since the Soviet Union’s Mars 3, which landed in 1971. It was the first successful Mars landing ever in the history of the human race. Post that, the United States and China also made successful landings on Earth’s closest hospitable planet. But as SpaceX’s Elon Musk also started showing interest in colonizing Mars in 2007, each of these superpowers amped up their efforts to be the first one to make Mars their colony. And now, the Red Dragon will be doing something that will take them one step closer to that dream of achieving interplanetary colonization.

Idk if I would trust China with things in space. Most things made in China are cheaply made and here you trying to tell us, that their space technology is better than the the feast of the world…. Wait for them to go into space and experience equipment failure.

Yeah but which country will fake a colonization on mars similar to faking the moon landing. My bet is America for 2x the win. Face it, privitized spacefare, no world leader can let a single privatized group land if it isnt in thier name. If I land there first, its my planet, if China does then it's their planet
