Im honestly impressed you even made it to the boss with that team. Lol Good on you though. With such limited moves, you're probably better off just hitting attack and letting your mons make good choices. You'll avoid issues like running out of MP and missing your action. Also, Rockbomb Shards are huge in boss fights! They do a big percentage and thousands of damage. You'll get them next time champ.
I almost got soft locked at this 2nd boss fight because I saved my game right before. I ended up spending all of my talent points I was saving for next fusion to get past it and a lot of items

yeah, that king slick slime is no joke. thoroughly destroyed me on the first encounter as I didn’t realize it was one of those larger boss monsters and I was very much unprepared. I tried it again once my team was at max level and it was still quite difficult. That thing is super tanky. I tried scouting it a few times and got zero percent every time, so I gave up on trying to scout it and just synthesized it and then used it to synthesize another type of king slime. There are a lot of different king slimes in this game.

I've heard of lateral thinking but the Flan Foyer needed vertical thinking – 47:48 Ed needed to get to the platform above the one he was standing on but didn't get there until 51:48.

I had skeleton soldier, succubat, wyrtle, shadow slime, hypermion, iron maiden, hoop trooper, and dark sabercat cub. I also just talked to Pruslas instead of touching the center (thought he'd have something further to say) and we just started fighting after he was upset about not falling for trap. No free hit. Thought that was a unique thing the devs added
