On March 27, 1994, the most recent of 3 notable Palm Sunday outbreaks occurred (the others happening in 1920 & 1965).
This outbreak, while not as numerous in tornadoes, had a large amount of intense compared to the number created.

    Will never forget the severity of these storms and the cleanup in Indian springs Georgia of the tornado there. I lived in Rome at the time. Crazy crazy day.

  2. I appreciate you reviewing this outbreak as it involved my area of home. Why you chose to use the metric system of measurements when we in the US don't use. I have no idea how wide a two kilometer wide tornado is. I cannot put that to scale like say two miles wide , two hundred yards wide. I realize metric measurements are becoming more common but they aren't here yet.
    Very informative other than that.
