First off a great selection of games, I have most of these on my wishlist or in my library and 2nd I wanted to comment on your review presentation. You have evolved into an amazing game reviewer from when I first discovered your channel. Merry Christmas
That's an impressive list of titles if I ever saw one! It truly was a great year for metroidvanias, but also puzzle games! I have to say it was incredibly fortunate for me to come across your channel! I can't wait to see your content in 2024! Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
I definitely enjoyed Blasphemous 2, but it feels like a shadow compared to the first game. The bosses in the first game are way more memorable to me, and even the art and ambiance feels just a slight step down from the first one. I certainly don't think it's unreasonable to put it in your number 1 spot for the year – it's likely in my top 5. But still, for me Blasphemous 2 will ultimately be a little forgettable in my overall list of favorite metroidvanias.
