Beijing is using Aus declining to send warship to Red Sea as a ‘PR exercise’

Nationals Senate Leader Bridget McKenzie says Beijing is using the Australian government’s decision to decline to send a warship to the Red Sea as a “PR exercise”.

Ms McKenzie sat with Sky News Australia to discuss the government declining the US’ request to send a warship to the Red Sea to fight against Houthi rebels.

“We have a global reputation – particularly our defence force as being a very good mate to our allies and that has been developed over generations of ADF in global conflicts around the world,” she said.

“Being a good mate means that when your mate is in trouble and calls for help, you actually turn up.

“Now the fact that this is not just any mate, this is our AUKUS ally, America, asking and requesting for assistance, I find this decision by the Albanese government incredible.”

  1. China has a Belt and Road Deal with Iran.!
Gives China access to Seaways through Middle East, Red Sea and Persian Gulf,
    plus Secure Oil Supply .
Iran getx money and military warfare from China.!
Australia has a Belt and Road Deal with China.
It is disguised as a 99 Year Lease of the Port of Darwin.
The Australian PM''s recent visit/invitation to China was no doubt in recognition for his support of China's Belt and Road Program.
All this explains the PM reluctance tio send a warship to help Assist Allies supporting Israel.
    No one in
Politics, or Media has called out China or Australian PM re his real motive for his response.
However China has commented his response was the "Right one".

  2. Our Government are a joke. They're more interested in themselves and appeasing to the needs of China than supporting our own allies. Albo is a pathetic, weak PM who honestly, is totally out of his depths. He's got to go, the whole Labor Federal Government have got to go!!
