The Complete Solo (Flawless) Warlord's Ruin Guide – All Classes

Warlord’s Ruin is a shorter, but still just as tough solo experience as some of the previous dungeons we’ve had. Today, I’ll cover how I tackled this place on every class with a mix of both using and not using the seasonal artifact perks available for the season.

Builds/Loadouts – 0:00
First Boss – 7:39
Second Boss – 11:21
Final Boss – 20:02

  1. Unless youre doing wormgod shenanigans, Ogre is super 3, phase-able.
    I used Scatter Signal w of/cb
    Zaolis, and Dragonsbreath.
The seasonal mod torch can give a lil extra alongside the mod that gives weapons unraveling after licking up an orb.
Hammer an enemy for orb and radiant then: Hammer boss>Scatter Signal for unraveling>Pyrogale>Dragonsbreath> then spam Scatter Signal.
Keep picking up orba for extra damage on boss and always keep dragonsbreath rotation. Throw hammer when possible.
You could use slice for more reliable debuff but Overflow kept me doing more damage over time and unraveling was as easy to get.

  2. PSA: i encountered a glitch after the ogre boss fight where the biting winds debuff continued even after killing the boss and i couldnt do anything to get rid of the debuff and it eventually killed me. I believe it occurred because i killed the boss extremely quickly after dps phase. He was a literally one shot from my epochal integration. If you have the boss extremely low, wait out the dps timer a bit before killing the boss.

PS: i went with solar lucky pants hunter and a malfeasance for this one. Definitely has my stamp of approval for this dungeon.

  3. For the first encounter, running Arc on Warlock with Vesper of Radius is actually really good. The arc damage on your rift will kill 2/3 of the eyes when you get jailed so you only need to look for the 3rd

  4. If you don’t want to be filmed without payment then maybe don’t provide a FREE performance in a PUBLIC space? No one is entitled to give you money but they are entitled to watch and film you as much as they want.

  5. For those running Solar builds and are Sidearm Enjoyers(tm), using either Heliocentric QSC with Heal Clip and Incandescent or Drang Baroque with Wellspring and Incandescent provides insane add clear and personal sustain. They do great damage, 2 tap the blights on encounter 3, and are just solid and fun.

Though, I would personally use a longer range weapon for encounter 2. In my solo flawless run, I used a Tyranny of Heaven bow with Dragonfly and Incandescent.

  6. For warlocks, you can easily just stand in a well and use supremacy with 4th times + rewind and hit damage check on final boss each time. I was consistently hitting even if I only got 2 totems (given, this was with artifact mods). Between that and a bait and switch catalytic for the top damage phases, it was a 2 phase.

Also, while overflow is good on the new fusion and long term is 100% the play, I’d recommend slice for the time being. There’s an artifact mod that just gives you free damage as long as the boss is strand debuffed and you’re radiant.

Finally, on the ogre, if you deal with the left scorn guy first, the right one will move very close to mid by the time you finish. I had quite a few mistakes with not getting double totems from the first guy, and by doing left first I was able to grab a totem from the right guy as well. The solo quad totem is also possible, though no clue how hard it actually is

  7. For my hunters: I've heard volatile explosions can take out the eyes on the final boss. If not the volatile, then tether. Pair with retrofit for consistent dps and ya might just have a winner

  8. I had pretty much the same strat with my titan on the first 2 encounters, pyrogale and synthos on solar.
On the final encounter I felt restoration just wasn't enough and ended up putting on abyent leap and banner of war. Woven mail and banner X4 have pretty much infinite uptime with that set up and I felt very stress free not having to micro manage restoration and a bonus was I could use my super for the mini bosses that spawn in and I could suspend the corrupted guy making the process to get to damage as safe as possible.
