A lot of you don't like Pence's stance on Ukraine, but he is correct according to the best geopolitical and military analysts in the world. Regan did the same thing when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan. This is just the new "Peace through strength" for 2023. And it works. Right now is not the time for experimental politicians. We have bigger fish to fry than the woke moralists. We are in an existential battle against REAL authoritarians. Like real World War 2 level bad guys.

Surprisingly disappointing interview. Peterson didn’t ask any challenging or in depth questions and Pence stuck to uninteresting programmed answers. Could have spent 5 minutes watching Fox News and learned as much.

This feels like a decent effort to get into the 1972 campaign with a few prepared talking points and catchphrases to connect to the people watching any or all of the three networks on the tele-vision.
Like many commenters noticed before, the difference between this and the RFK junior interview is night and day. This is a career politician. Everything is rehearsed, including the hand gestures. Mr. Pence might be a competent politician and administrator, but this just feels wrong. The wife calling in to check in is pure cringe by the way.

As a Brit that has only watched 30 mins of this interview before continuing, I’m half intrigued, and half disappointed so far… Mike Pence was totally a silent partner as Trump’s VP- and wisely so.
DT was the first Pres since Reagan to not spend a lifetime in career politics before being elected and brought a fresh and brash edge to the two party debate.
That’s why I don’t think MP can compete today- he had the chance to flip his image as former VP, but recycles ancient rhetoric. It’s not enough to be the nostalgia candidate of the 1980s.
