Going by Wonderbread now! Love it!
The time Wanderbot became Wonderbread
This is developed by only two people, so long delays in updates are to be expected.
The thing I love about this game is that there is virtually no limit to the amount of build diversity in the game. I found one Slorm Reaper that I enjoyed on the Mage, and over the dozens of hours I've spent on the game, I've exclusively focused on that Reaper and its Primordial variant.
In the interim, I've found dozens of other Slorm Reapers just for the Mage. The Mage has 3 specialities that you can spec into, as do the other classes. So I have been focusing on one weapon, for one speciality, on one class. And I'm still having fun with just this one build.
Can't wait for it to be fully released. The only problem I have is that I get too comfortable in one build and don't want to diversify because you can strengthen that build almost indefinitely. 😂
I’ve been wanting to get into this
I once did a build using the mana bender staff and chrono blade that did increasing damage.
Wander: You can find a somewhat recent totem build here on YT which is well suited to starting the endgame with no gear on Huntress (the totems spawn more totems and it gets mental). Fair warning you will have a very rough start there in terms of progressing the difficulty tiers with no gear without such a build and lacking gear (catch 22 spiral, cant farm good gear on other builds without having starter gear to survive t4-t6).
Your weapon aka reaper does level up, and some even have enhanced versions that can lead up to so called 'primordial' reapers which have more stats and a downside to overcome. You can also pay to upgrade your other gear slots eventually along with materials you will find. I really like the build innovations that are present, definitely some builds you can do which you dont see in other ARPGs (unfortunately some are highly dependent on highly RNG items iirc legendaries which are both difficult to find and lack affixes compared to normal items, the final of which are both expensive to add and very expensive to change into something useful via crafting).
Games that take more than 7 years tend to be bad
So…. Star Citizen is terrible. Yeah, we kinda knew that
Went and found the leveling build I used for huntress. Same guy has good ones that are recent enough to be valid for the other 2 classes as well (but as he says huntress is the best to start with)! If nothing else, its good to look at these to learn how the damage scales here, as it isnt always super intuitive.

That game is one of the project that I really enjoyed, despite the fact that it takes a long time to finish, but the updates are actually meaningful
27:00 "Y'know what this character needs? A meatier smell"
have a look at starsector
it will someday have a 1.0 release, maybe
Only people that got into Project Zomboid when it came out in EA can complain about development taking to long. Still no NPCs 😂😢
This game looks cool but unfortunately the camera movement is hurting my eyes somehow
0:33 I respect you so much for this. I've never understood why fans give in and play games instead of demanding changes by not voting with their wallets. Blizzard in general needs a change in management. How far they have fallen since the peaks of brood war, warcraft 3, and OG wow, and even sc2
HEECKKK YEAH!!!! Been playing this since last year and nobody's been making a video about this game recently. Nice to see this video getting featured because it is very underrated imo.
This game and StoneShard are worth the wait tho
They are really nice to just chill and game
When you get bored of other games you have these on the back to keep you goin
Do not google the meaning of Slor…
I think you are looking for the mage character, he does not have a meteor but he does have a vortex skill which pulls in enemies then you can blast them with your laser or other skills. Tho you must upgrade your gate until it can block enemy projectiles, can spread shot your basic skill, and increases damage. He also is very squishy and drains a lot of mana, do search for mana on hit and health regen from equipments.
this game looks fun tons of variety in the builds you can do but I hope the enemies are challenging and not get one shot cuz the diversity would be meaningless otherwise.
I remember playing a demo of this way, way back before it went to early access. The updates are GLACIAL though so I'm happy I haven't bought in yet.
Totally agree about skipping d4. I'd rather support small devs over MicroBlizz.
No black hole yet, but you got that meteor spell pretty quick! 😀
Hlleo wenderblett!
You did a video of Chronicon which was developed over 9 years =) Not a complaint or a troll, just saying that games that takes long can come out well =)
This game looks awesome!
There are so many ARPGs out there, a good chunk of Indies. It seems we've entered the phase of the Indie ARPG, having been through the 2D/3D platformer renaissance, a plethora of survival games and a deluge of Harvest Moon-alikes. There are precious few good-great AA-AAA ARPGs, it's a deceptively tough ask and as of yet I've yet to play an Indie ARPG that I'd describe as above average. Chronicon was a disappointment and I haven't touched this for a while, hopefully they've improved it because my initial impression was being somewhat underwhelmed but I kept the game in the hope that it would improve dramatically.
