  1. Golf can drive a man crazy. My inability to narrow the inconsistency of play made me drop the game. Pretty soon the fun part of it became the drinking.
This movie fills a gap between Tin Cup & The Legend of Bagger Vance. It’s ok. But go watch Caddyshack and have a good laugh.

  3. WHO gives a cracked shit about yet another baby-man central character?
It's a conspiracy to dethrone white men from their position of social responsibility. Because therein is the road to power for other segments of population – and the pop culture story is the means.
The incompetent man character is endemic. A waste.
Yet everywhere are ridiculous unreal "strong woman in leading role" characters. Many in farcical storylines.
ALL of this has to give way to reality again if films are to tell stories worth watching. Write from Life not writing class.

  4. I was bummed that Deborah Ann Woll wasn't cast as Galadriel in Rings of Power as she brought a lot of intensity playing Karen Page in Daredevil . After having watched the trailer, I was happy that she didn't take part in that debacle.

  5. I know nothing about golf. I didn't even know the movie had anything to do with golf. I saw Robert Duval's name and I liked the title. I felt this movie was giving a higher message but using the game of golf as the game of life. So many profound statements made. Robert Duvall exuded one with wisdom from his human mistakes in life, yet had such strong faith.

  6. I absolutely hate the ending of this move. It got me angry. The movie ended abruptly without showing its outcome. I wish I could sure the person who thought that would make a good ending. You should not be able to waste people good time like that. We were strung along and then the movie ended. I would love 5 minutes alone with the fool ( my nice term) who thought it would make a good ending. I wish I could do more than rant. Dam the director!!!!!!!
