the widescreen for Jet Force Gemini is working as intended. the issue is that it was intended for 4:3 screens (you can tell because it gives you the option to move the image up or down). the widescreen is letterboxed by design. to fix it, Nintendo would have to keep the ratio at 4:3 and zoom the image in to fill the screen. as long as you didn't move the image in the settings then it would appear normal. because of that, I can't see Nintendo fixing this, unless they change it so the emulator just doesn't stretch the image to 16:9 when widescreen is enabled and just leaves it at the default, with the side borders intact.
A Jet Force remake with better controls would be amazing. Then again, other than the aiming, I'm having fun with it. And man, that soundtrack is still SO engaging and atmospheric. It's not lost an ounce of oomph.
1080 avalanche was my game on gamecube. Not a fan of the tutorial mode in 1080 snowboarding. I already play ssx 3/tricky, and shredders these days. 1080 snow cant compare, on the surface.

Robin Beanland. Beautiful immersive soundtrack!!! Was like 50 percent of the game that kept me coming back despite the clunky controls!
