Eric Roberts is a full Air Force Colonel, yet the wings insignia on his flight suit is a lowest level of a pilot. At his rank, it should have a star above the shield, surrounded by a circular wreath of oak leaves indicating a Command Pilot! Next, there is NO such thing as a "As usual, Hollywood will never learn how to correctly portray military personnel unless they hire a military advisor Next, there is NO such rank as "Major Sergeant" (the correct term is "Master Sergeant)")
After watching this ridiculous excuse for a movie, I have one more comment and then deleting it. I can't believe the scene of Russian helicopters (which might be able to manage 200 Knots) actually engaging in close combat with these Mach 2 US fighters capable of flying twice the speed of sound. In realty, those helicopters would have been toast from missiles fired from the jets at several miles
