  1. That was such a wonderful surprise that Sam did. Only way to up it for next year could be a resort view from the Grand Floridian, or get the Yosemite suite (Presidential suite) at the Wilderness Lodge as they decorated it for Christmas, even with a tree.

  2. Your husband is a very nice guy!!..The one time I tried something similar was MUCH harder to keep secret as long as you did….back in 1998, right after Bellagio opened for the first time in Vegas, I managed to convince her we were going to Disneyland for a day trip and managed to hide the suitcase in the trunk, so she had no clue…until we passed by the highway that connects the I-15 to Anaheim and kept on going…and only then did I have to fess up! She (as well as out then 5-year old son) was GOBSMACKED! And we had a Great time!

  3. 35:44 I purchased the “Hey Disney” skill for my Alexa devices. When Sam said that, the Echo Dot in my bathroom picked it up 😂. I wish I could have it play the Space Mountain queue music when I go to bed. That would be so relaxing.

  4. Sam, you are an amazing man for Jackie! I am in the process of trying to make reservations at the Comtemporary Resort. We have been informed that my husband only has a few months to live. His last wish is to stay there. When he saw this blog, it made him cry, and he told me that Jackie gave him his last wish. We can't afford a trip at this time.
So Jackie and Sam, thank you both so much!!!

  5. What a fun experience! Having never even been to Florida I am so curious about the weather. i know it's hot a lot but when it rains does it get cold or does it get more humid? And will you guys return to Williamsburg again?

  7. My wife and I absolutely love your videos; there is a fantastic mix of content, and there is always something new to discover on your channel! However, I must admit that the amount of control that the Disney company has over people is rather concerning. It’s bewildering how the mere (and very distant) presence of a tacky plastic castle can get people gushing over the ‘beauty’ of what is essentially a view of a car park! Having said that I still enjoyed this video; you and Sam make a winning team. We hope to bump into you in Warwick somewhere down the road. Mike x

  8. I’m guessing you guys had never gotten to stay here before?! So glad you had a nice time (have heard a distressing number of sad tales about Contemporary Resort stays lately that it’s nice to hear one that was magical!)
