Standard today is overloaded with super-pushed, power-creepy creatures—Atraxa, Etali, Sheoldred, massive Dinosaurs—so today, we’re going to punish our opponent for playing these busted bombs by using some random uncommons to steal their creatures, smack our opponent with them to get in some damage, and then sacrifice them for value! What are the odds the plan works? Let’s find out on today’s Against the Odds!

its not hard to pronounce something…
Built this deck in commander with Hidetsugu, Devouring Chaos
I didn't see a comment about this yet, but I'm curious why you didn't include brother's end in the side board. It's insane against swarms and happens to conveniently stop palantir draw.
24:51 "i wouldnt of expected a drain for 3 to be so effective"
glances at my ill-gotten inheritance that has guranteed lethal 75% of the games i run it inuh yeah no drains are actually great.Sucks not passing the Sheoldred test. I'm surprised it didn't get banned based on how unfun it is, even if it isn't the strongest card ever.
This looks like a deck that every first time player makes and then rages when they have to play against a control strategy.
Okay, that is probably the coolest deck, that I ever watched you playing 😂
against soldiers you should keep trying to play wedding announcement instead of the useless sac artifact.
Amusing stuff. Lots of lolz. I liked hearing the game sounds in R1. Reasonable volume versus your voice. Then you muted sounds in subsequent rounds. Poops.
I could watch this deck all day
When I started to play Magic, the first thing I did was buid a deck with Catch // Release and sac outlet to Catch lands, creatures, planeswalkers … Anything and sac them to draw.
You could even use the land you stole as it untapped.
My deck building skills were not great at the time tho :/
I've been playing a similar deck the last few weeks but it's UR, realized "if everyone is playing huge bombs, why not steal them?" Then saw there are no less than 12 threaten effects you can put in a deck! I use the red one mana fling adventure. It's so much fun 😅 Yours definitely has a better plan for what happens when they don't play creatures though. Control is nearly unwinnable.
I run a similar themed deck on historic from time to time. Except I of have ways to blink a creature to gain full control. Also have mirror hall mimic's in there as well.
Fucking annoying fuck fuck deck.
Great game but in mach 2 second game if you would have drawn a threaten you had leathal 💀
i played for a long time Boros aggro with 2x main Apple because of this exact reason. Apple Is actually Just very good in this standard, change my mind ❤
Wow that poor mythic opp thinking the grind that day would be easy
Sac blood before sacking Shelly to gain life 😫
I love that the first opponent was trying to jund em up in standard, old school style with lily of the veil + bloodbraid elf (aka appraiser), but it was not enough against the steals and smacks xD Poor jund getting janked out even in standard.
Been on a wild run lately with these decks and your videos. Having a ton of fun as a viewer.
Modern has been unwatchable for a while so I'm looking forward to whether modern has opened up with Fury gone or if it's just all unwatchable Bowmasters and The One Ring.
The irony of "the opponents playing our deck, it's not fair"
