  3. Story Idea:
    An adult woman (FMC) receives a wedding invitation from her childhood friend and her first love (MMC) whom she hasn’t heard from since high school. Flashback shows how during their high school days, she always teased him, but deep down she loved him but was too embarrassed to tell him. Then one day after school, the MMC wanted to ask the FMC something. He then confesses his feelings for her, but in a fit of embarrassment, she rejects him, leaving him heartbroken. The next day, feeling terrible for hurting him she tries to talk to him about what happened but instead, he ignores her. After the next few months, he treats her like she doesn’t exist. Then at graduation, he leaves for a college far from home, now realizing she hurt the one person she loved. Now on the day of the wedding, she reunites with her childhood friend. He asks if he could speak to her alone. The MMC then tells her how he felt during their days in high school and from when he confessed. Even though he was sad about the rejection, he invited her so he could let go of the past. He then tells her he really did love her, even though she didn’t but was glad he had her as a friend. After the wedding, The FMC heads home with tears in her eyes, now realizing she pushed away the man she loved into the arms of another. Once’s in bed to sleep the pain away, she wishes to go back in time to fix what she could’ve had. The next morning, she wakes up and realizes she’s back to when she was in high school. Taking this opportunity she vows to fix her relationship with her friend and to not let him go.

    (I rewrote it, and I know it’s long but hey I wanted to make it more detailed. Bare with me)

  14. The story about the rubber makes me mad. How dare his stupid sister laugh at him for making the mistake when he was obviously embarrassed and asked three times for clarification and she was too stupid to just say rubber bands for my hair. I mean yeah he should have asked better to find out exactly what she meant but what teenage boy would? The whole thing is just stupidly bad writing and the author needs ten demerits and time in the corner as punishment for it.

  15. Story idea: So many of these wonderfully romantic short stories end with a promise of more to come. Many use the same names for the characters but at different ages, so that gave me the idea that you could combine them into a graphic novel. Please write a long story where a strong male lead "fixes" women who were "broken" by abusive relationships, finds loving partners for them while in high school, college, and in his first job, and finally tries to do that for a 4th woman, but he falls in love with her for real and can't let her go without marrying her.

    That idea was inspired by your other stories and could be the next stage in your progress as a writer.
