  1. garrick gaining life AFTER destroying the creature, and having it based off toughness…
he is hunting, cleaning, then serving the mean to the wizard that summoned him

i think this is used on a few cards to simulate hunting, you kill it then eat it as opposed to killing in a warfare sense

  2. Scour from existence is in my Eldrazi deck. Hopefully I get it for 2 less (Ugin/Forsaken Monument) or for free (Darksteel Monolith/cascade). But the deck is built for high cast cards, so it's not an issue to get to 7 mana.

  3. yo woodfall primus seems pretty solid in a green counter deck, which probably doesnt have much removal… since it has persist, just give it a counter to cancel the -1 and it will always come back to destroy more things. That would make it an excellent blocker! Dont attack me or ill block with my woodfall and destroy your enchantment/artifact

  4. The one I like is kind of 2. Urza lord protector. Specifically the planeswalker side. Which you can only make by casting the light stone and the weak stone which can -5/-5 remove then the planeswalker has a -3 to exile any target permanent and a -10 to destroy all non land permanents and your artifacts have indestructible

  5. Blasphemous Act and Mark of Asylum or any of another small handful of cards that say, something along the lines of 'prevent all non combat damage to creatures you control'. In a red white deck, maybe that thing from Eldraine that gives lifelink to sorceries and instants you cast. In a big game with several players, you nuke the field, your creatures live and you gain like 200 life, and even though your creatures take no damage, they still make Blasphemous Act cost less for being on the field.

  6. I love Legacy Weapon's Dominaria Remastered variant art, (borderless) specifically the one that shows the whole ship pulsing an energy blast. I hate that 10th edition art with just like ugly Grumpy Karn and Urza's head and whatever else is going on there.

  7. For another bad combo's video! I've used this combo once but I find it kind of funny, so what you'll need is three cards (I use this in commander). You'll need Sharuum the hegemon, Phyrexian Metamorph and any creature that either deals damage on etb or death.

  8. Cloudkill, it's completely nonfunctional outside of commander. Wizards should at least word these things to work otherwise, like you can chose a creature you control or a creature card in the command zone. There it would be basically the same, but have that added functionality to work based on a commander's cost.
