I can't figure out if he's Lost or Neglected

Special thanks to all of you for the support so we can help Henry the Husky and Sundays for Dogs for agreeing to my idea to feed him for an entire year! Get it for your dog 50% off with code ROCKY: https://get.aspr.app/SH9H1

Thank you Animal Friends of the Valley’s for helping him. Please no calls or emails to the shelter so we don’t overwhelm him but if you live close stop in. You can even put a hold on him if you want to be the first in line to adopt him once he is released for adoption. Updates will be here as they come in:

  1. People can ask some stupid questions. You guys know what you're doing or you wouldn't be there.
That Husky is going to be a sweetheart if he learns to trust just that one person he likes Rocky😂????? He looks like someone had him chained outside and never talked or cared for him. He wanted to get àway but he was scared. Poor baby.

  2. Your are a god send for these lovely abused , lost and abandoned dogs. I hope your love helps them get new homes . But the love you give these animals will truly stay with them forever and allow them to trust again. You have the essence of Shiva in you and I hope you are rewarded for your good work on this earth. ❤

  3. Speaking of seniors.. because of Rocky’s channel and other rescues and sanctuaries I subscribe to, I recently started looking into how to get involved with fostering for animals in hospice care. I have wanted to get involved for a while, but was worried that it would break my heart over and over. But Rocky pointing out that it is about them.. not about me – that hit. I can deal with my own issues later, but I can help a dog or cat feel safe and loved in the time they have left. Thinking about an animal dying alone with no one to comfort them, that’s much more heartbreaking. Thanks Rocky! 🙏

  4. He needs a new home with someone that will love him and care for them. He didn’t get in that condition from a week on the streets. I took poor nutrition for his fur to get like that. Best of luck. You are such a blessing to all those dogs.

  5. I have a 10 year old Husky Lab mix named Damsel, she is the smartest Fur baby I have ever had and still has a ton of love to give. They are so worth the time and effort it takes to take care of them.

  6. Seven years is just a a half-lifetime for a husky. God-willing he has another 7 or 8 years with a loving family. He sure is sweet. I have two huskies and they are the best pups, especially once they get older. He'll be a perfect dog for someone.

  7. When you started talking about naming him the first thing that popped into my head was HENRY. When you started calling him Henry I thought I must have seen the name in the video description, but the name isn’t there. You definitely got his name right, he certainly looks like a Henry.

  8. Hey Rocky, I don’t think he knows how to “shake”, he just is showing his friendship for you. Wolves show friendship for each other by offering their paw to each other. Most dogs do the same. Even if they haven’t been taught many dogs offer their paw as a sign of friendship, affection, respect, and submission. They also ask for affection by offering their paw.

  9. I have to stop watching this channel. Love the amazing work you do but every time I see a dog like this Husky, I'm not sleeping a couple of nights. Because I want to adopt them and give them a better live. But I already am doing that for an adopted American Akita and a Husky. And that's the max I can afford and that I have room for, living in a small house. BTW.: have this sweetheart checked for sebaceous adenitis. Looks like an S.A. case seeing that coat and listening to the groomers description. S.A. is a lifelong disease but can often be well controlled with proper medication.

  10. I just got my ROCKY KANAKA TREATS…. I ordered several different kinds. My Schnauzer HARLEY is almost 16 years old and I’m going to have to let him go soon… 😢 SO UP UNTIL THE DAY , IM GOING TO UNCONDITIONALLY SPOIL HIM 😱 he normally lets me break he’s cookie and treats up AND LAY THEM INFRONT but last night,I was giving him a bite of DING DONG FROM THE BAKERS DOZEN AND HE GRABBED IT OUT OF MY HAND, He loves the Jerky and is able to chew it. The little PUMPKIN MUFFINS HE 💙💙my other dog ZORRA she’s 10, lost all her manners, she watches Rocky videos with me and comes and cuddles with me… she was just to excited about the jerky and was taken fingers with the jerky… we had to have a little talk about the fingers… she’s a mix breed, I would love to send you her picture and see if you would know her breed.

I’ve been so BLESSED to have my fur babies for so long, my last schnauzer Missy was 16 1/2 when she passed.. SHE WAS MY SIDEKICK AND I MISS HER EVEN 10 YEARS LATER…. You just never stop loving them. ❤

I love your videos, they are heartwarming ❤ I also ordered the Sundays food for them to try. Thank you for all you and your wife do for these wonderful fur babies ❤

  11. I used the head massage with my 100 lb GSD Granddog in the Vet ER this week! Distracted him from the many needles, lines and tubes in his body as he recovered from deadly anaphylactic shock from…bee/wasp/scorpion 🦂 (?) sting. $10,000 worth of care later (reduced to $7650!) he’s alive! Wish we’d had Pet insurance! GoFundMe has raised $2075 in 19 hrs so far thank God.

  13. Aw man I love that mentality you have! Just like you can't make everyone like you, you can't sit with 8500 dogs per year; So you make each encounter as special as possible <3
I hope more people can adopt your attitude Rocky! You make a difference for all of us.

  14. My Huskies would slide their heads under my hand to demand pets, If I was catching a nap on the couch they would come up and smack a paw onto my chest to demand cuddles, if I was awake the paw was gentle, if I was asleep it was a wallop, if they were injured and we were doctoring them they would put a paw in my hand while Dad was stitching them up. I have yet to meet a husky that did not want paw contact while interacting with their human.
