Nice video… If you have to pick up one action camera , which one would you pick up and why? Insta360 AcePro vs GoPro Hero 12 vs DJI Action 4 or the DJi pocket 3 ? I am very curious to hear your choice. :)))
I'm curious how your FPV rearview centering behavior is working? On mine, attempting to center the camera locks it to the horizon (like I'd expect tilt lock mode to behave.) However, when the camera is in selfie mode, attempting to center the camera by double tapping the joystick behaves as expected. Toggling the camera between selfie mode and rearview mode while in FPV mode and holding the device at an angle seems to have inconsistent behavior for me?
Builtin Mic Audio backup is a nifty new feature but I’d like to add a word of caution when using this feature. As this is something totally new to the workflow you must remember that there will be an additional WAV file recorded together with the video file. If you, like me, use Lightroom to import from your card and then format the card before using it for the next event those WAV files will be lost as they are not imported by LR. This will negate the purpose of this recording
DJI are still missing the most important update which is the long exposure shutter to go slower than 1 second

Perhaps I could add a couple of details on the new "audio backup" feature, whose title is a bit strange to me. Yes, you can use it to record the internal mics as well as the wireless mic, and mix or switch in editing as you wish. But it works just the same with UBC-C mics, and a good example would be if you wanted binaural sound from a USB-C binaural headset, but you also wanted to talk to camera. Binaural headsets are not particularly good for recording the wearer's voice, but with the new 4 channel sound recording feature, you can also record on the internal mics and crossfade to those at the points where you speak. Lastly, the wave file is created even when no external mic is in use (if the menu option is ticked). This gives you a lossless wave file created from the internal mics, which you can use to replace the lossy AAC audio embedded with the video. For music purposes this is very handy – you could process the wave file as required with eq, reverb, compression, or whatever, create a new processed wave file from that losslessly, and replace the original AAC audio when editing. A serious audio recordist would never use AAC for the source of audio material, so this gives a very worthwhile alternative. (I believe GoPro have had this option for a few years). The Pocket 3 is now a four-channel audio recorder with video added on!

2 things that would have certainly made me purchase a P3, number one is a 40mm lens of some sort wether its an attachment or an actual lens. Number two, is the sale of a individually available mic2 unit.
Ihave downloaded the latest firmware and am I right in that the Mic 2 will not record to the pocket 3 when it is Pro mode? If not, how do you get it to work

Hi Mr. FlytPath I bought a DJI Pocket 3 with DJI Mic 2. I was told by you that the Mic 2 can record in stereo and also transmits in stereo to the Pocket 3. So that's why I bought a Sony ECM-LV1 (stereo lavalier), which I connected to Mic2, but unfortunately I can't record any stereo sound. Is it because the microphone has a wrong plug? In that case, I must be able to get an adapter between the microphone and Mic 2, what is the name of such a cable?
